HSH Improvements has completed several projects for me over the past 20 years. Most recently I called on them to deal with significant water damage to my family room ceiling, to upgrade my master bathroom, and to complete several small projects around the house that improved its overall safety. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding, as were communications throughout all phases of the job.
I was impressed by their use of protective coverings in the family room (even on the drapes) which minimized what could have been a real mess. It's a great relief to work with a company that truly cares about client satisfaction. To summarize, they are simply The Best!

We couldn't be happier Home Sweet Home! After my wife removed the drywall on the wall between our kitchen and dining room because she wanted an open concept, she discovered the wall was supporting. After we lived with open studs for far too long, HSW came in and saved the day. They brought in an engineer to determine what support beams were needed. HSW did all the repairs necessary.
The work was top-notch, and the men who completed the job were the most professional and courteous. I highly, highly recommend hiring HSW for your home improvement projects. I plan to call them again this spring to work on our deck.

Home Sweet Home Improvements LLC remodeled our master bathroom in the spring/summer 2019. Everything was excellent from the initial consultation with the owner until the final walk through. Home Sweet Home goes the extra mile to make their customers happy with the amount of money they are putting into their home improvement projects. Their motto "It's Your Project.
It's All About You!" rings true during the entire process. The owner came up with a bathroom design for us that we did not even think was possible and changed the entire look of the bathroom. Small problems that surfaced during remodeling were quickly resolved. Home Sweet Home was extremely respectful of our time and our home, making sure floors were covered from our front door all the way into the bathroom in the back of the house. We highly recommend Home Sweet Home for your next home improvement project.

We were nervous about selecting a contractor for our kitchen/bathroom remodeling project. It is a big money investment and we were concerned about contractors that overpromise and underdeliver. We read reviews where deadlines were missed and work was shoddy. We did extensive research reviewing licensing, better business bureau complaints, word of mouth and internet reviews.
We selected Home Sweet Home for their clean record and longevity in the business. They delivered on time, on budget and a beautiful, custom result. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that we recommend them without reservation.

It's not normal to say we enjoyed our remodeling experience but we really did. Tom and the entire Home Sweet Home team was thorough through every step of our project. We have an old home. Their attention to detail with the new blending in with the old was a true testament to their craftsmanship and their love of working with older homes was evident.
Great communication throughout the project with Dawn with selections and John kept a tight schedule with everyone that came through. Totally recommend Home Sweet Home to anyone wanting to remodel their home. Our project involved multiple rooms.

The Home Sweet Home team executed an extensive kitchen expansion and renovation in our historic home in Warrenton. The project was effectively a gut renovation and entailed a number of challenging structural dimensions as well. Tom and his team played a key role in helping us plan the new space and were with us every step of the way as the project progressed from conception to completion.
The results were simply extraordinary. We started the project with high expectations and they were exceeded, and then some. Our new kitchen looks great and functions beautifully. It is definitely the focal point in our home and has prompted more than a few "Wows!" when visitors see it for the first time. In addition to being extremely pleased with the outcome of our project, we can't say enough about the quality, professionalism and character of Tom, Dawn, John and the rest of the HSHI team. Incredibly professional and skillful company to deal with. Design/Build addition of a 3-season room. Took their time to discuss all options and pricing, to understand and meet our expectations, on time, on budget, quality work, and 3 years later visitors to our home stare in awe at how nicely it turned out. Our favorite place to be, 3 out of 4 seasons! superior craftmanship and attention to detail.
Very responsive and conciencious. Can't say enough good things about Tom, Dawn, John, and the whole operation. Highly recommend, and when we can afford our kitchen remodel, they will be top on our list to call.

We highly recommend HSH Improvements for their excellent work. We have used them for several remodeling projects. In 2010 we hired them for a full kitchen remodel that included gutting the former out of date 1970's kitchen/dining area/hall. At a later date we hired them to remodel our basement and have used them for smaller projects as well. The entire staff was very professional and courteous and left site clean at end of day. They were on schedule, addressed our needs promptly and were concerned about our project as if it were their own home.

We have used Home Sweet Home for 2 projects and have been extremely pleased with their professionalism and work ethic on both projects! They hire great people (regular staff as well as sub-contractors) who know what they're doing, and were totally trustworthy. We also appreciated the help we got from Dawn on design questions. They really cared about the success of each project, and cleaned up after themselves after each time they were here.
We have 2 very nosey pups, and they were always kind and didn't seem to be bothered by the "help" they received! We highly recommend their services and would be happy to use them again for future projects!

I am so pleased with the work that was done by John and Chris in our home. My boyfriend and I are both busy professionals who don't have the time to fully be involved with a remodel but wanted our bathroom to be a little more up to date. Family recommended Home Sweet Home Improvement to give us a quote and get some ideas on what could be done with our bathroom.
The price was completely reasonable and communication was clear with us from the start. John and Chris were respectful of our home and even showed excitement when they saw our dog Sonny every day!
