I wanted to add to my review that when I first contacted the company, it was by messenger. I was messaged back and told if I gave my number, he would call me Monday. He didn't. I messaged him again and he said he was out of town and that's why he didn't call. Ok, I accepted that, but didn't he know he would be out of town when he came up with calling me? Then, didn't show or cancel for a scheduled appointment, and I was the one to reach out.
They call my comment asinine, but is it asinine to expect someone to reach out? I understand Covid is a reason to not call or make an appointment, but someone who is calling me asinine, not an ass specifically, but sort of the same thing, could have cancelled the appointment and explained why Ben, who they kept saying would call me, didn't. I stand by my saying with me, they were unreliable, even before Ben wasn't feeling well. I'm so glad I found out before giving him a deposit.
I was the one that reached out every tim hey didn't keep me posted as to why they didn't do what they said they would do. I'm not asinine for telling them that's not ok. It's not. A business has the responsibility to cancel appointments, to explain. I mean they didn't have to tell me with what family members are I'll with, but they did owe me a text or phone call as to why the appointment wasn't going to be kept. I think they are unprofessional.

I had several contractors come by my house to pitch their decks and pricing. When Ben Hickerson from Innovative Homes first came by the house, I knew right away he was the guy. He was very professional and you could tell he enjoys his work. After selecting Ben, he brought over several different design options to fit my interests. This was the only difficult part for me because they were all beautiful! Ben called to let me know what was coming at each step along the way. Additionally, took care of all of the paper work (Building permit, HOA, final inspection by County of Loudoun etc.).
