A huge shout out goes to Brandon of Casey fencing and deck and his team. Our deck was completed in 2018 and won Best outdoor living space in Frederick Maryland and also won a national award. We recently put our home on the market, and received an offer for full asking price within seven days. The couple that ended up buying our home stated that the deck was a big deciding factor on purchasing our home.

We knew exactly what we wanted and contacted quite a few different builders in Frederick for quotes. Most said it was impossible or tried to convince us to get a more traditional design. Brendan met with us and not only was he the most knowledgeable of the pros we talked to, he immediately told us that he could make it happen without a problem. He gave us some expert advice on how to get the most value for our money, emailed me a ton of photos of previous builds, discussed color choices in detail, and worked up multiple price quotes for our different ideas.
We got started a little later than expected (which makes sense due to the pandemic), but it was 100% worth the wait. Rob and the builders were incredible, and were here early each day. They worked so hard on what was definitely a difficult project, and they completed the entire deck and lighting system in 7 days. Casey and his team brought our vision to life and we couldn't be happier! We highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their backyard.

We just had a deck built by this company. Not an easy proposition in these times. But, except for a few delays that were absolutely not the builder's fault, work started on August 5, and was finished in three days (our first contact with the company was, I believe, in late March or early April of this year.) Brendan was wonderful, and kept in contact with us at every step of the project. His crew was wonderful, unobtrusive and very very hard-working, The result is fantastic! We are beyond pleased!

Casey fence and deck was an absolutely pleasure to work with on our deck project. We built a fully composite deck with pergola and they came in more competitively priced than some were quoting for a lumber deck. We just got a 28' X 16' deck installed and it is Awesome! Other contractors have come by for other services and complimented on how sturdy it is. One contractor said "it is built like a tank." Very affordable and many neighbors have complimented on it. Reinforced for a hot tub and we are extremely excited about the deck. Took about 4 days with a rain day mixed in! Thanks Casey and team!

If I could give no stars I would. I called to get a quote on my deck rebuild. I asked for wood and composite price so I can decide which fits our budget right now. I was met with a sarcastic smart mouth tone which said to me "I wont put wood down and if I do I will make you sign a contract to relieve us of all liability if anything ever happens with the deck" WOW ok well then lets just look at composite. (I am getting more than one estimate) Then I asked if we could use the new support beams we had put in 1 yr ago and he laughed at me and said not interested!
Well im glad his business is going so well he doesn't need another client but jeez to treat people like that in today's world. I would have worked with him but with the blatant disrespect and laughing at a potential client he has lost buisness and I will tell anyone that is interested to use someone else! Such a bad experience and never will I recommend him!

After spending over two months and receiving approximately 10 to 15 quotes from multiple contractors, my wife and I decided to go with Brendan for a new deck; we are definitely not disappointed. The deck that Brendan and his team built is stunning and upon close inspection it is easy to see why Casey Fence and Deck is so highly regarded. Extra measures to ensure true craftsmanship were certainly taken as the deck looks perfect down to the smallest visible detail.
From the very beginning Brendan was honest, did exactly what he said he would do and kept my wife and I updated throughout the entire process. He stayed within our budget and never pressured us to build anything we didn't originally ask for. In addition, our capped composite deck is like walking on solid ground as the structure beneath it is very solid.
The deck surface feels great to walk on, looks amazing and the deck as a whole greatly improves the overall look of our home. Lastly, I would like to thank Brendan's entire crew as they were friendly and very helpful. Tim was especially helpful as he stayed late multiple times to finish up. Experience with "Casey Fence & Deck, Llc." of Keedysville, MD 21756 Phone number (301) 432-0804 Business website: caseyfenceanddeck.com After researching several companies within Hagerstown, Frederick, and neighboring cities in MD, my husband and I decided to have Casey Fence & Deck build our deck. While we wanted a simple deck, my husband who is a retired custom home builder, also wanted a contractor that he also felt would do as good as job as he would.
We contacted Casey Fence & Deck and the owner came out to visit with us. We arranged for our first meeting on a Saturday so that he could talk with both my Husband and I. We arranged for 1000am and he was there right at 1000 am sharp. I might add that every time he said he would be there, he was always on time and very prompt. He spent a considerable amount of time finding out what our needs were, what we really wanted, and then looked over the site closely.
He took pictures of the landscape in efforts to provide the most accurate estimate. He said he would get back with us on a quote and the next day we had a quote. Very fair, affordable, and we definitely got our money's worth! We arranged for the work to begin after the winter weather had ceased. The team showed up when they had arranged to start.
From then on they were there daily (sometimes Sunday) to get the work done. While the entire deck is just gorgeous and every detail is meticulous, there are some things that we really wanted to mention. First from the Landscape Company that was hired to dig out the dirt and put in a retaining wall, to the workers who built the deck, everyone was very curtious. Polite and just amazingly nice.
They people loved their job and working for Casey and it showed. And while all of the workers were great, we felt we really needed to mention "Mike". He is a young man who started first and always stayed last. Sometime the young man wanted to get ahead start and was there before sunrise. He always let us know when he would be there the next day so we always knew what to expect.
He made sure that all was neatly cleaned up at the end of the day. Very neatly! This company cleans up after themselves to every detail. Overall we not only have a quality deck, beautiful craftsmanship, and just a beautiful long lasting deck for many years. Would we recommend Casey Fence & Deck? Absolutely! Check out their website and some of their accomplishments. They are all top notch, making it to your expectations!
