Completely Incompetent business model. Called 3 weeks ago to set up delivery of 6 yards of 1-1/2" minus stone. Office manager told me delivery will be early Friday morning, 8/9/19. No Show, No Call. I phoned office and was told "they don't have it and didn't have it 3 weeks ago when I called".he added "office manger should have told me"?
I had a lot of prep work for this project and had to have it delivered at a specific time because the material was going to temporarily block a driveway. I gladly and respectfully waited 3 weeks and not once did anyone from Hughes Bros contact me to let me know they made a mistake! No one is perfect, I get it, BUT, any competently managed company would have quality assurance practices in place, including review of customer orders in advance to avoid what happened to me. Also, No apology until I prompted them.
A company that cares about customers would have promised to resolve what was clearly their mistake, gotten the material from a competitor, and delivered the material, even if they had to eat some or all of their profit. Shameful. Ed Higgins

Not impressed with their marketing strategy. Just witnessed a white pickup with young adults driving, in the Bangor Walmart parking lot. All 3 young people were looking down at their phones, almost hitting people. It almost seemed like they were even playing a video game, possibly even Pokemon Go if my assumptions are correct. They were consistently braking for no apparent reason, backing up, doing U-Turns while almost hitting handicap parking poles.
Finally the driver got out of the vehicle to go and stand against the outside of the building, smoking and just looking at his phone for the next 15 minutes. Definitely not impressed with the representation of this general contractor at the Bangor Walmart.
