True North Home Inspections

My wife and I had to purchase a house sight unseen due to a last minute military transfer. Bryan was more than great when it came to explaining the completed inspections, and made us feel at ease about our move. He is very personable with an abundant amount of knowledge!

I have used True North Home Inspections twice now and heartily recommend the company. The first time was for an inspection of a house I had made an offer on in Gig Harbor, Washington. I was so impressed by Bryan Zimmerman's detailed analysis - including pointing out innumerable things I never would have noticed or known about - that I hired the company a second time to give me a neutral analysis of the roof on my own house, to ensure that that I truly needed a new roof and wasn't being flim-flammed by roofers (I did need a new roof).

While out to look at the roof on my own house, Bryan inspected my own house from top to bottom, alerting me to countless things I had never noticed that needed to be dealt with, such as rotten exterior window frames, mold, missing finish work on my Hardiboard siding, and so forth - I call it my "to do" list, and I'm now having a contractor take care of most of the list. Bryan Zimmerman (the business owner) is one of the most detail-oriented people I've ever met, a quality one surely wants in a home inspector.

Both times he's done inspections for me, I received a very detailed inspection report, complete with excellent photos and drawings plainly and clearly explaining what is wrong and what needs to be done to correct it. You cannot go wrong hiring True North! (I'm not a spokesperson - just a very satisfied customer!).

Highly recommend! Several months after purchase, we could not find the water shut-off valve, as the original one had been abandoned. Bryan searched his photos and records, in pursuit of assisting us with our dilemma. Bryan sent us pictures of the valve, which was in the most inconspicuous place. He was very responsive and professional and did not send a bill for the additional service. He actually cares, which is hard to find nowadays. If we buy another house, we will definitely use Bryan and True North Home Inspections again.
