Spivak Lighting

I brought in a lamp to repair and had a bad experience at this place. On the way in I bumped another lamp with the lamp I was carrying and someone came running over to tell me to be careful and looked exaggeratedly concerned. I said not to worry I would be happy to pay for something if I broke it and the person barely looked at me, as if all she cared about in the world was the poor lamp, which was completely unharmed, by the way.

She made no effort to welcome me or reassure me that since nothing was broken I shouldn't worry, nothing like that. When she came to the counter to wait on me she said the lamp I brought with me could not be fixed. This seemed unlikely so I asked if she would allow the person who actually fixes the lamps to take a look. She said sort of grudgingly that it was probably wasting my time but OK. A week or so later someone called to say the lamp was unfixable. I did not return to the store for over a month and when I did they had thrown the lamp out.

I recently had the most wonderful experience at Spivak Lighting. I just moved and bought my first home. The staff was very helpful and informative. I was completely overwhelmed and they helped me pick out all my new lights. I am thrilled, everything looks beautiful! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Spivak is the BEST!

Earlier this week I had a pleasant experience purchasing a beautiful affordable mirror at spivaks. The sale staff were incredible to work with, they truly made me feel comfortable in my purchase and I never felt like I was being rushed or persuaded into something I wasn't looking for. I enjoy their knowledge and personal input as much as I did the cleanliness and appealing atmosphere of the business. Spivak is a great store run by even greater staff, thank you for your help I am loving my new purchase
