We hired James to do a large project in our home. We asked him to rip up the carpet and install new hardwood floors on the entire 2nd floor, refinish old hardwood floors in a few rooms on the first floor, and install new hardwood floors in the foyer and kitchen after removing existing tile. I also asked for new baseboard molding to be installed, and during the process he recommended that we replace an entire staircase due to its poor condition that was only revealed after removing the carpet. James doesn't do the baseboard molding and staircase himself, he has other guys do those things with/for him.
I am happy with the floors themselves. They look beautiful and the transition between the refinished hardwood floors and the new installation is seemless. The floor installation in the kitchen was not easy due tile demolition and removal, and having to work around the existing cabinetry, but they were able to do it quickly and efficiently. Just a side note - they did have to use shoe molding to hide small gaps between the floors and the cabinets.
If you are looking to hire him to only do your floors then I would say that he is a good choice. He is reasonably priced and the work is fast. The floors look nice and I am happy with them. However, if you need him to do anything else besides strictly the floors, then I would consider finding someone else. I'm not sure who the guys were that worked on the baseboard molding, but it was not the kind of work I would expect from a professional.
There was an area where the trim was sticking out too far from the edge. A piece of the trim fell off the bottom part of our door that they never placed back (we can't find that piece anymore, so we have to go to Home Depot to fix this ourselves). There were a couple of tricky areas in the home that they didn't install any trim, which left the gaps between the floor and the wall exposed.
I would think that whoever did the installation would find the examples above to be unacceptable for a finished product, but they actually considered their work to be finished. I had to ask James to ask his guys to come back and fix some of these mistakes, and to his credit he did. The stairs themselves were custom made out of oak to replace our old staircase.
I am pleased with the overall construction. It looks beautiful. However, the installation was questionable. There was a sharp edge of one of the stringers protruding into the landing area after they had finished installation. Aside from looking strange and unfinished, with two small kids, it was also a safety hazard. I'm surprised it was just left that way. James was responsive to our concerns and did ultimately came back to fix this, however this small area that they fixed doesn't look as clean and finished as the rest of the staircase.

James offered a reasonable quote and prompt service. After his floor refinish work dried, I noticed an imperfection and reached back. He came the next day and fixed my concern no question asked. The finished product looks great. I'll call James back for any future work and would recommend him to others. Thanks!

James was great. He delivered everything that he promised on time. The price was completely worth the value he provided. He removed a horrible pet stain and repaired an big gap (5in x 24in hole) in my hardwood floor. He made it look like it was never there. He did such a great job with my floors and I have already recommended him to friends and family.

I hired All Flortec to replace the old flooring in my kitchen and dining room. The job involved demolition of a tile floor & a parquet floor. The subfloor needed repair and some leveling. The new floor was matched perfectly to the existing hardwood floor in the adjoining rooms. All of the work was performed efficiently, on schedule and with the minimum of disruption to my family.
The new floor was laid and it is a very high quality job. My kitchen and dining room look beautiful and compliment the rest of the house perfectly. In summary the price was reasonable, the work was performed on schedule, on budget and professionally. The workers were pleasant and polite. The work product is excellent. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them with complete confidence.
