We had used Punch Out Plus a few times over the past 15 years or so, and always had wonderful experiences. They were our go-to handyman company whenever we had a home project that needed creative thinking and quality work. This Spring, we were nearing completion of a full-house renovation we had been working on for about a year, and had a handful of odd jobs that we decided to hire out: rehanging interior doors, installing stair tread, rehanging the basement ceiling, installing the front door handle and deadbolt, painting all baseboards, installing the kitchen faucet and drain, rerouting an HVAC register, installing a bathroom vanity (including top and faucets), reinstalling soffit panels on the front porch, and replacing and painting boards on the back porch.
Total contracted price: $6,600. Our experience with Punch Out Plus this time couldn't have been more disappointing and further from our prior experiences. They were overwhelmed by the work, showed little interest in problem-solving, rarely showed up when promised, were not responsive, and did not complete the contracted work. After several weeks of Punch Out Plus not showing up to work when promised and being non-responsive to our calls, they had completed: rehanging ten interior doors (none of which closed properly), painting all baseboards (except the stair trim, which they had not installed; the young man who did the painting was excellent and our only positive experience of this process), and installing the handle and deadbolt on the front door.
That was it. As it became clear that we couldn't count on them to do the work we had contracted with them for, we started completing many of the projects on their list and eventually told them that we no longer needed their services. We had paid them half of the contracted amount ($3,300) when we signed the contract, and after we cancelled their services, they sent us a refund check for $895.
So apparently it costs almost $2,500 for them to paint your baseboards and hang 10 interior doors that won't close. An extraordinarily disappointing experience with a company we had relied on and recommended to others for years. I sincerely hope this experience was a fluke and they are able to continue providing quality services. But we certainly would never use them again.

Our restoration project got off to a slow start time wise due to a variety of factors, however, we were kept informed along the way. As to the job itself, we were VERY satisfied. Mr. Britton also returned sheets of paneling we did not need to finish the job as neither of us has a truck. This was done as part of extended customer service on his part and not included in our contract. We would absolutely use POP again.

Punch Out Plus was a very reliable and honest company. The owners, Don and Davina are very nice people. They took the time to explain every detail of the work to be done and the time it would take. Their crew were punctual and experienced tradesmen. Cleanup was accomplished during and at completion of job. At the end of the job, Don made sure everything was done to my liking.

I called Punchout Plus to do my roof and interior work and am glad I asked them. The job they did on my roof was nothing less than awesome while the interior job performed was very very impressive. This company takes real pride in their work and it shows. We will always have Punchout Plus do any of our projects with confidence knowing it will be done with pride and great workmanship. Thanks again Punchout Plus for being a company we can trust and stil very reasonable pricing.

I have used Punch Out Plus a number of times on my home in Dublin. Form small to some larger projects. Always on time, the quality of the work was exceptional. The crew always cleaned up after themselves. and the price was fair and always what they quoted. I have and will continue to, refer Punch out plus to Friends and Family.

They wanted $75 for a verbal quote and $200 for a written quote (which "would be applied to the work "if" we used them"). First of all, I have been using handymen and contractors for 30+ years and never have I been charged for a quote. Secondly, don't ever take a verbal quote from anyone who is going to do work for you. EVER. It doesn't hold water. Trust me. Lastly, it would be nice to have communication with Don (the owner?) and not his assistant. No communication from Don whatsoever. Next.

Got my kitchen cabinets designed and installed by them which they did in an amazingly perfect way. I wasn't hoping for this but they unexpectedly provided me out of the box services. It turned out to be WOW! My cabinets look so so gorgeous with amazing wood work and polish. They used the steady materials showing me everything and explaining me the steps side by side.
Very knowledgeable and genuine staff. I assure you that you'll love their services that are on time and in budget definitely. Will call them again for sure for the closet work this time. Excellent work guys!

We have a small handyman job, but they're clearly not interested in doing it at all. Even worse was their way of handling it. "Can you send us pictures?" was the first request. Odd, but OK. That turned into, "He'll have to come out to see it to give you a quote. That will cost $15 if you want an oral quote, or $30 if you want a written quote." I've never heard of such madness in my life. Beware.

I own a very crazy, hyper active dog who occasionally runs through the house like he's been on a crack binge for over a week running into everything! Well after running into THE SAME wall repeatedly he managed create 4 holes! I called Punch Out. Asked for an estimate. When my husband and I were ready to have the work done, I emailed them told them I'd like to schedule them to come out.
They emailed me a proposal. I signed it, emailed it back and within 2 weeks the work was done. Bill was the gentleman that came to our house to complete the work. He was VERY VERY nice. Did an EXCELLENT job fixing what our dog messed up. If we have any other drywall issues, they will be our go to people.

I hired them for general handymen work: fixing an always-running toilet, replacing the caulk in our master bathroom at bathtub-to-floor transition, and removed/replaced a showerhead. I would like to start off by saying, all-in-all, I was happy with the work that was done. I would definitely use them again if I needed similar services needed in the future, or anything else they provide work on. Really, the only downside was the amount of time, from initial contact to when the actual work was completed took longer than expected.
There was mentioned a personal emergency, which I understand, and that they didn't want to schedule too many jobs in advance in case something runs over or a contractor is unexpectedly unavailable. But my initial contact took place on 10/24 and a contract wasn't sent over for me to review and return until 11/4, then I wasn't contacted to schedule an appointment until 11/20. So, while I would have liked to been kept in contact more, I am glad to say I was very happy with the work done.
I would probably recommend calling the company, rather than using the website/email; that might provide a quicker turnaround. I just hate calling folks, so I avoid it when possible! Now on to the actual work. The contractor arrived on time, and looked professional. He was also courteous and didn't mind my cats, which is a bonus since they tend to be super nosy with visitors.
He arrived around the ETA I was given, and was quick to ask what all I needed done. I showed him the three items we needed help with, and he said he would be able to get it all done. He got to work right away. I ended up needing to leave for work a little after he arrived, but my husband said he was great the entire time I was gone too. It wasn't until a few hours later that I came home to inspect everything.
The toilet no longer constantly runs, my caulking job looks perfect, and I have a nice new showerhead instead of what was left over from the previous owners! The initial contact went a little slow, but I am very happy with the overall results, thus my rating. The hourly rate was a little higher than I expected, but I knew it ahead of time. I'm just glad he got done quickly; they definitely don't mess around or try to pad their timesheet, and for that I am grateful. I definitely recommend Punch Out Plus, LLC.

Consistently perfect. Punch Out Plus not only remodeled our bathroom but painted the house including a tricky 32-foot ceiling and deck, rebuilt a retaining wall in a creek ravine installing drainage tiles to keep it intact during heavy rains and floods, carpentry and refinishing and handyman stuff. Their prices are very reasonable. The work areas are always covered and the guys clean up every day. We've been using Punch Out Plus for about 10 years and wouldn't use anybody else.
