Andy On Call

Needed 2nd story gutter secured to house after wind blew 1/2 of it loose. They came out ASAP (delayed due to rainy days). Showed up on time. Reasonable quote for doing both 1st and 2nd story gutters with gutter screws to ensure gutter stayed in place. Aaron did a great job. Very professional, friendly, did great job. Much more reasonable and QUICKER apt than other companies. Highly pleased.

Technician installed new microwave in new location. Did nice job. Took longer than expected. I recommend giving them a try. I read through the reviews posted here today. I've had several jobs requested through home advisor and they are hit or miss as well. I have found the home repair and handyman services in Columbus Ohio highly variable. Takes patience. I will try to use Andy on call again, as well as home advisor. Good luck.

I have used Andy on Call several times. THEY ARE THE BEST! They have put in new toilet , porch lights, hood over stove, added outlet, put in new ceiling light fixtures and suggested led lights that save you money. I love the new lights, price great and can do few things each time and keep on YOUR budget. I have more projects to schedule! Try them you will be always calling them for projects at home.

After agreeing to an overpriced quote because we needed a home project taken care of and couldn't do it ourselves.the guy never showed up. Company called 30 mins after appointment saying the guy would still be another 20 mins. I was so annoyed as I had planned my whole morning around it. Now I can see why there are so many negative reviews. Would not recommend!

They came and checkout out the soffit and fascia that needed fix all the way around the house and I don't know if they just decided it was too big of a job? Or what but the guy told me he'd email the estimates of the weeekend. I heard nothing from them so a week later I emailed them and days later they emailed me and said they couldnt find my email address although 2 people had called my cell phone so they did have a way to get ahold of me. Anyways. Just not professional. Going with someone else

Had another job for Andy on Call which required a tall latter to reattach some siding that popped loose. The tech was really helpful and the job done in a timely manner at a fair price. Andy on Call continue to be my go-to guys

I have a custom drapery workroom and have used 4 different installers from Andy OnCall. Each one of them did an excellent job--very meticulous, was always on time, and were very polite and courteous to me and my clients receiving the window treatments. It has been a wonderful experience to have someone available as soon as I need them. I will be using them for a long time. Thank you so much for your service! You gentlemen are the best!

The first technician texted me the next day and said "Sorry, I forgot about you". I work in ther service industry and didn't want to blame the company for one techs forgetfulness. Luckily, I called back in and was sent Michael. He came to my home, gave me an estimate and even offered to start right then even though it was after 6pm. Michael gave me a fair price and returned the next evening to do the job. He was friendly, courteous and I have had no problems. Thank you Michael, you saved a customer.

****************** UPDATE: The owner of this business responded to my yelp review claiming my two calls were recorded yet his narrative of what occurred is false. Equally disturbing is his response exploits our Military by using status in an attempt to add credibility to his false narrative. This is unacceptable and disappointing. His response only reiterates their unprofessionalism and I recommend avoiding this business. ******************** 2/26/19 This one star review reflects the customer service I experienced with this business.

I called "Andy on call" to request a quote on a small concrete project at my home. I wanted a small concrete slab poured where my trash cans sit and extend the concrete a few feet under my deck for storage purposes. I told the woman I was accepting quotes over the next three days and requested their team to come out within that time frame if possible.

She took my information and ended the call. I had the call on speaker phone so I did not immediately hang up. Within seconds of the woman ending the call I realized she did not actually hang up because she along with two other people [male (his named sounded like Jeff)and another woman ]proceeded to speak extremely unprofessionally about my call. They said I was wasting their time, that there was no sense of urgency to provide the quote because it's just trash cans. Based on the call alone they said that all that was needed was concrete pavers and if I knew anything I should at least be able to purchase those myself.

They poked fun at the manner in which I spoke and they all had a good laugh at my expense. I know mistakes happen but nonetheless it showed me this business clearly does not respect potential customers. I eventually hung up and called them back to cancel the quote request. The second woman that had bad mouthed my call answered. I cancelled and explained in detail why, and she offered no apology.

I am fortunate that I overheard their conversation because I would not want these types of people coming to my home. Unprofessional and low class in an understatement and I would not recommend "Andy on Call" to anyone.

Scheduled a minor home repair in Grove City to fix a piece of the front door with wood rot among other small exterior things. After getting estimates from about 4-5 other similar businesses, Andy OnCall was one of the cheaper options (they even gave me a $25 off coupon w/o me having to say or mention anything). Cheaper doesn't have to mean the quality of work was any less, as it was in this case.

The handyman (Cameron) took two hours to do an amazing job and fixed everything to my satisfaction. I would recommend their service and would use them again in the future myself.

Don't use Andy OnCall! Never! I usually don't write a review, but this time I had to. A guy from Andy OnCall came to my house early in the morning. After taking a look at the problem I requested, he said that he need to stop by a hardware store and will be back soon. But he didn't come back. I texted him, but he did't answer. A few hours later, I received email saying that he won't be able to fix the problem, which is not difficult or complicated.

I understand that he could not do some work. What makes me mad is his attitude. If he thinks that he cannot do the work, he should have told me the truth, not a lie. (Stopping by a hardware store and come back soon) That is so unprofessional!

This company came out to my home 5 years ago and retro fitted my windows with screws, capped, and plywood to make the windows hurricane safe. They were to mark the boards, which they did not. Then comes Hurricane Mathew - I called them Tuesday afternoon and was told that I would receive a phone call the next morning with a set up time. By 3pm no call came - and no phones being answered at the company. It is one thing to be busy, but if they had told me, I may have had a chance to get someone else. Would NEVER use a place like this again.
