My problem was my Norcold 1200 was freezing but would not cool below 50 degrees. PJ Henry, (who rated his own shop) advised me that my box was wet and lost the insulation ability. He quickly suggested that he could provide a used box that had good insulation and advised that I needed a new cooling unit. I trusted his opinion and told him to proceed.
I was never offered a new fridge for I would think only a few hundred more. After one week I my charge was $1,950 and when I started to leave the unit was not working on LP. His helper could not get it working on LP and said it was now the control board. They suggested to bring it back on Monday and he would install a new board. I noted that the box was working on LP prior with my control board.
The control board that was installed had a cover, and my mark was not seen. I knew something was wrong. In addition, the box was not cleaned inside and all the door shelves were missing. Over the weekend I ran the box on ac and unfortunately it never cooled below 46 degrees. PJ called me on Monday and quickly tried to blame the control board and was very ready to sell me another.
I noted to him this was not my board, he told me to bring it back on Tuesday, here is another $60.00 in fuel round trip. His helper, who is a very nice person, was at a loss why he could not get the box working on LP on Tuesday, even after installing my original control board. After calling over a fine neighbor who was the previous owner of this business, the neighbor quickly pointed out the striker / thermocouple was not installed properly.
After a simple adjustment, the box fired up on LP. A totally wasted trip, caused by improper training by the owner to his employee. One would think this is kindergarten basics. Well another day of max cooling at home the box still never gets below 48 degrees. I called PJ, who hides behind his voice mail after the sale, left me a message basically telling me he did not like my language, would not take ownership of selling me a good dry, well insulated box.
My previous cooling unit most likely will be sold again, along with my previous box to some other stupid individual. Yes I am angry, I got his panties in a wad and he will not make this right. So, I am out $1,950, plus over $120 in fuel costs, plus major disappointment in a business owner who is only interested in a fast buck. My suggestion to anyone who maybe interested in doing business with PJ Henry is to think twice, he is never there but only to collect checks. I plan to take him to court.

We are moving from Wasilla Ak to Wilmington NC in a motorhome pulling a 12 ft trailer. We hit a big storm in Alabama and started having problems with a few things. One was the refridgerator would not connect at all. The owners were lovely and so helpful. They had us fixed up and back on the road fast. Thank you so much! If we ever have another issue we will definatly come back.
