Southern Deck

We discovered the southern deck in 2020 before the pandemic. They had sunbeds back then and we could enjoy sitting under the palm leaf sun shade with front sea view throughout the entire day. We just loved sitting there. The food was also amazing. This season we also came to the southern deck a number of times, both during the day as well as for dinner.

However there was a rule now that you can only sit at the front tables with sea view from 5 pm onwards. And there are no sunbeds anymore. We also feel that the quality of the food and cocktails has gone down compared to 2020 perhaps because this place is always packed in the evenings and they keep on expanding so more people can come. But sometimes it's just best to keep things small and have good quality food. So we felt sad about this. But we will come here again next season hopefully it will be better.

Amazing setup! Really good food, amazing service, something to take note of was the quality of vegetarian food - really good (especially the panner dish) since it's unlikely for the veg. Stuff to be good at such places. Definitely worth visiting if your in the location. Only downer was the cost - a lil too high. Felt like Mumbai prices!

One of the best shacks in south Goa! They have excellent food of all varieties. On weekends and during sunset this place is fully reserved.

We visited this place around Halloween on a Saturday night, the vibe here was AMAZING.! The whole place was decorated with Halloween decorations and there was a band for live music which took our experience on a different level. The food and drinks were amazing but on a pricer side, staff here was professional as well as helpful. There is a open shower available for people who want to enjoy the ocean along with visiting this place. A must must must visit in Goa! PS - If you're visiting this place on a weekend, reserve a table in advance or you will have to wait in a long queue.

An unexpected winner. Unexpected only because we walked in unplanned. Southern deck has the perfect location, great ambiance, delicious food, and a groove worthy vibe. We ordered the margarita pizza which as a veg option was exceptionally flavourful. The sunset view is stunning. They have macrame swings to enjoy the sunset view. Would recommend for an evening around 5.30 - 6 pm walk in.

This place has my heart. The location, the place, the beach. It's beautiful. I came here for a late lunch with my parents and we were mesmerized with the view and the sound of the waves. The food was delicious but the service is very very slow. Would have given 5 stars if not for slow service. Our starters came after the main course, which we can let it go since the taste made up for it. However if in Benaulim, should definitely visit once.

Cool beach side restaurant with live music. Usually packed on weekends. Good food options. If you like to party, this place is for you. One can enjoy drink with sea view as it is right on the beach. Service is very prompt and food was also good.

Southern Deck is a must visit, if you are in South Goa. The hostess Ayesha madam is so calm and such a nice person which makes the deck even more happening. The live band which goes by the name of take5 was one of the fab performers i have ever came across. The DJ after the live music was also amazing. I will like to go back to this place again and again

Undoubtedly one of the best places to try in Goa. Food, ambience, view 10/10. The place is just beside the Benaulim beach which gives the perfect view to enjoy your lunch/dinner. Compliments to Chef for the amazing food. Japanese Chicken Katsu is a must try. Chicken satay skewers were also tasty. Good veg food is also available. The cost is a bit high but wort a shot.

We went for dinner here. Food was Okay, good quantity for the price. Not many vegetarian options here. Good music and vibe. The ambiance is very nice. The also have swings, hammocks, and bonfire too. The beach view is amazing and the crowd was good. compared to other shacks it is a bit away from the beach. They also have sports screening. hookah is also available. Staff was vary polite and quick responsive. They have beach view cabanas(for which you have to bill 5000/- min )
