After 4 months from when we agreed, the time that they were supposed to complete the job came and passed. Its now been 6 months and endless excuses (none of which the same excuse), they told us that it would be done the 27th. We call today and not only is it not going to be done anytime soon, but that the material is "backordered". We ask for a refund of our deposit because at this point it is services not rendered and are told that were not getting our money back and that they have people that have been waiting a YEAR so we are not their priority.
The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced, which is especially upsetting because we originally turned down another companies bid because we thought this guy was more honorable. The job is not done, therefore I would like my deposit back.

We had a patio cover installed a few months ago. We was told the job would be completed in two days. It took an entire week, on the final day of the job, they sent five additional guys because the three young guys they initially sent, spent more time taking breaks than working. After a month of completion, the cover started leaking. I have called on a weekly basics for the past month requesting repairs. The receptionist keep telling me someone will call me back. As of July 5, 2020, we have not received a call. Please stay away from this company.

6/30/20 edit: So, I am coming back to edit my review because my awning gutter developed a "pucker"? Not sure how to describe it. I called airflow a couple of weeks after instillation and told them about it. It is on the "house side" of the gutter. The told me they would come by and fix it (take a look at it) and they have never followed through. I can't imagine using nor referring this company again. ** Original review** This company was refered to me by their "sister" company, Strauss awnings. Ian visited to explain the awnings and the differences between them.
These are not fabric awnings but metal. There is a basic metal one and then he explained what they call an insulated awning. This one has what appeared to be Styrofoam in between the layers of metal and an upgrade in material on the bottom side that is visible when you're sitting under it. He explained the differences, at length, and told me approximately how long it would be before they would be out to install it. Ian patiently answered my questions, of course, you don't know what you don't know right?
During our conversation, he mentioned that they had somebody, whom they use often, who could come to install a ceiling fan for me. Ian Told me all I had to do was buy the fan, didn't even have to take it out of the box and after they put up the awning, this person would come out and install it for me, it would be very easy. So, in approximately the time they said it would be, they called and said "we are ready to come tomorrow and install".
I was never told how long it would take to install it, I just assume something like this would take the day.(you know what they say about assumptions right?) On the day they were to show up around 8 or 9 in the morning I came home from work early, and found 3 men sitting around on my pool area in my chairs. I've never had a business crew make themselves comfortable on my personal property).
I walked out back and said hello, I asked them what was going on and they said they were at lunch. I commented that I was not sure how I felt about them making themselves comfortable on my furniture (besides the point of it being unprofessional in my opinion, there's also the idea that I don't know their "cleaning habits" and now they have made themselves comfortable on my furniture in this time of a pandemic).
I did call Ian at this point, he also agreed that it was unprofessional. At 2pm they told me they were leaving for the day, at which point they informed me this would be a three-day job! I couldn't have imagined it taking three days. On the second day they did end up finishing it. (Thank goodness) The crew was nice, they moved a water barrel that I had and made the gutter go to it so I can collect rainwater.
I did ask for a different color fan beam, and they did not do the color I wanted and that Ian said they would do, but I didn't have the heart to ask him to change it at that point. I asked Ian when they were going to have somebody come and put the fan up and he said that he had told the person to call me and said he was surprised that the person had not called me yet.
I told him I thought that was included in the job, and he then informed me it was not. I realize it is my "lack of attention to the quote", had I paid more attention to it, I would have seen the electrician was not included in it, but the fact remains I felt I was led to believe it was included in the service and that the electrician would be here during the installation process.
Now I will just get quotes from several electricians. **Bottom line? The awning is very nice, and it looks very good, It appears to be good quality. After the lack of communication and the confusion, they should have made some attempt to make amends, but there was none. I probably would not refer my friends and family to this company for that reason.
If you decide to use this company, be sure to ask more questions than you could possibly imagine, be certain to pay attention to the quote they give, make certain it is specific!

They installed a carport for us many years ago. They did great work, and the carport is still in great shape after many years. A few years ago a friend ran into one of the poles that supports the carport and bent it. We called Airflow and they came out and replaced it for a very reasonable fee. The next time we put in a sunroom or awning we will be using them again.
