Kaiser Pools and their conglomerates are the worst companies you could hire for any pool related items. Kaiser Pools installed a pool at my home during the winter of 2017-2018; within 9 months the entire pool installation and surround was structurally damaged and on the verge of collapse. Kaiser Pools was asked to repair the damage per the warranty. Kaiser Pools took 2 weeks to send an unlicensed subcontractor who failed to offer solutions to repair the pool.
My insurance company sent an engineer who determined the damage was a result of improper building techniques. The engineer's report was sent to Kaiser Pools, who immediately denied the findings of the engineer and Kaiser took no action to help us. While waiting for arbitration with Kaiser, we discovered that Kaiser Pools does not carry liability insurance (which is required to be a General Contractor in Alabama), they used unlicensed sub-contractors, , did not have the required inspections, did not use the correct materials, and did not build to codes.
After 27 months, Kaiser Pools showed up to arbitration and wanted to negotiate. An agreement was reached that Kaiser Pools would have 60 days to correct all issues after a 3rd party engineer inspects the site an comes up with a plan. Kaiser Pools sent two representatives from Kaiser Construction to the site inspection by the Engineer. Following the site inspection, Kaiser Pools decided to not abide by the agreement made during negotiation.
Our case was finally heard through arbitration in October 2021. During the course of the hearing the Kaiser Pools representative stated under oath that: regarding not having liability insurance "I don't know if we had liability insurance. Sometimes we do and sometimes we don't" regarding why they did not build to certain codes "The codes do apply to us but not that one because we have never done that" referring to the multiple companies registered at Kaiser Pools address "All the companies are Kaiser Pools, they're one and the same" regarding the project manager of this installation "He's just a salesman, he doesn't know anything about pools" Once the arbitration hearing was complete, the Judge took a month and went over the evidence and testimonies in great detail to reach his verdict.
The arbitration order reads: THAT THE FAILURE OF THE POOL AND APPURTANCES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE DRAINAGE, FILL DIRT, POOL APRON AND RETAINING WALL WAS THE RESULT OF FAILURE OF DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF THE POOL BY THE CONTRACTOR KAISER POOL FIBERGLASS AND IT'S AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES: The Circuit Court of Baldwin County, Alabama confirmed the arbitration order and RENDERED JUDGEMENT AGAINST DEFENDENTS (KAISER POOLS, LLC).
My suggestion to any person who is considering hiring any of Kaiser Pools companies is to do your research. Look at reviews (Google, Buildzoom, Yelp, Indeed) and you will find numerous reviews stating terrible business practices that range from: Improper building techniques and materials refusal to take responsibility unreasonable delays charging customers for work not completed and putting liens on that person's home when they refused to pay the fraudulent charges keeping multiple security deposits unnecessarily including one from a disabled veteran when financing fell though a former employee stating the owners don't offer enough support to operate the business.
Please don't fall for their tactics of giving you a big smile and patting you on the shoulder while telling you that you are part of the Kaiser Family. In my experience they will say and do anything for your money and refuse to help should they be responsible for the costs. As of today, 42 months after the damage occurred and 4 months after the arbitration order, Kaiser Pools has not complied with terms in the Circuit Court's order and continues operating Kaiser Pools, LLC., Kaiser Construction, LLC., Kaiser Pools Fiberglass, LLC., and Kaiser's Homestead LLC. If it were possible I would give my experience with Kaiser negative stars. It took over 16 months to get my liner pool installed though we were told it would be done in 7. The communication was extremely poor. Emails and phone voice mails were rarely returned. When I was able to speak with the office, they were rude and noncooperative. If I hadn't given them a huge down payment, I would have pulled the plug before they dug the hole.
Then things got worse. They dug the hole for the pool at the beginning of July and left it there all summer. The mountains of dirt created rivers of sand and soil that covered the grass in the part of my yard that wasn't part of the pool project. We ended up having to sod the entire backyard but even more frustrating, the entire yard was not usable all summer.
Since we have 4 preschool grandchildren that couldn't go outside and play due to dangerous conditions, our summer was less than the enjoyable outdoor pool and play set experience we expected. Sadly, it wasn't just inconvenience and rudeness that we encountered. There were also 2 mis-measurements that put our pool 1 foot off of center and added 10 feet of additional cement decking. OOPS!
We also added a feature to the pool that, after the pool was installed and the cement poured, turned out wasn't added or even available to be added. OOPS! Additionally, on the day after they poured the cement, there was a crack the width of the cement decking right near the pool stairs. OOPS! None of this was addressed or fixed. We finally got our last piece of equipment in December. Endless Delays and broken promises Rude and spiteful office staff. Incompetence and subpar product and delivery.

The Kaiser team, family ran and owned has experienced all the problems of Sally, Covid and Covid related supply problems. There has been some frustrating times but never once was there a lack of communication and more importantly honest communication. The pool Kaiser built for us was not a standard pool and took a lot of extra effort. It ended up exactly as we envisioned and beyond. Honesty, morals and really good crews put them in the number one lane for pool builders. Don't miss talking to this company.

Kaiser constructed a salt swimming pool in our backyard in 2020. We have thoroughly enjoyed this CAREFREE pool ever since. Maybe every 5 weeks or so the digital display tells us to "add salt." Then we toss in a bag of pool salt. That's about it. The water is so easy on the eyes, too. They did a WONDERFUL job, and even steered us toward a pool-financing outfit to help pay for it.

I highly recommend Kaiser Pools for your pool maintenance. I asked them to solve a problem my previous provider could not after repeated attempts. One visit by Kaiser resolved the issue and therefore earned my business. Our home is a part time home and I never had to worry if our pool and spa was carried for. I want to send a special thanks to Chris who was assigned our account. He always went above and beyond the call of duty.

Feb 2020 Update: Not only does all that is stated below remain to be true, but Kaiser Pools went so far as to put a lien on our property for the fraudulent charges billed to our account. Despite the fact that office manager agreed to remove the charges and send a corrected invoice. We never got the invoice and then months later received notice of a lien.
These people are shameless. We finally decided to just pay the bill that we didn't owe (pool cleanings that never occurred and chemicals that we had on site) to be forever finished with this shady business. The check was sent in November and the lien still has not been removed. When we called today, office manager claims that the paperwork is in the mail.
Of course it is. Ron Kaiser is aware and unwilling to do anything to make this situation right. Do yourself a favor, keep moving past this one. We have been pool service customers with Kaiser for 5 years. Recently, management has stepped out and turned the keys to the castle over to a rude and condescending office manager who bills incorrectly and can't admit to a mistake EVER. Kaiser now bills for services not rendered, charges for chemicals that were provided by the customer and then when the customer questions these practices, office manager claims that no one else at Kaiser will speak to you.
To make matters worse, their pool tech has now ruined our liner by dumping undissolved shock all over the pool causing major discoloration. I have been waiting for a phone call from someone other than office manager (who happened to have provided one of the 5 star reviews with no comments. SM) all week. Who knows if management is even aware but shame on them for going to sleep at the wheel.

We have been using Kaiser Pools for several years now. We have never been disappointed in their service. Adam cleans our pool and does a great job. We think he is wonderful! In addition, we've had to have some work done on our pool equipment. They were quick to respond and knew exactly what needed to be done. Their prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend them for pool services.

Kaiser has done several jobs for us the most recent was this summer. They re-routed the water lines for our pool because the original contractor buried the lines too close to the surface and several cracked. They worked with us to ensure they did it disturbs all the new concrete we had just had poured. Very polite and professional.

If I could leave a negative star amount I would (-5) Kaiser put in our pool 4 years ago, they hit us with an extra for concrete like another rating here mentioned. We had issues with concrete, coping and various other items that it was like pulling teeth to get them to make good on. They never did to our satisfaction. They started the job while we were out of town ahead of schedule and cut every corner they could while we weren't there.
They put all plumbing on one side (all water outlets) and all electrical on the other side (pool lights). This has caused poor circulation and lights that don't reach across the pool. We had to replace all 4 lights and both pump motors in that 4 years. Just this week we had to replace the liner due to holes that have developed (last year I was able to patch a hole but it was formed we believe because they didn't remove all the roots from a pecan tree they cut out). Kaiser does liners as well and for the sake of saving face I called them to ask for a quote.
No return call. I would not recommend my enemies to use Kaiser for their pool installation. Do your research if you are making an investment and get someone who cares about their workmanship (from our experience Kaiser clearly does not).
