Just want to say Justin is the best ac tech ever. Very honest very helpful and saved me from a terrible nightmare from day cool. Just because your ac is having trouble doesn't mean that you should try and con a person into buying a new system. Lol. Thank you Justin for all your great work and help definitely will always use Justin if he is available. Great company if you need ac repair etc. call them you will not regret it

Our air conditioner had been going bad and not keeping our house cool for a couple of years. I called Estes and they sent someone out right away. Our coils were rusted and were leaking Freon. We were given several options, but ultimately decided to replace the 11 year old system (that was out of warranty). They added Freon to our old system, so we would have cold air until our installation the following week.
Our technicians, Gary and Justin showed up bright and early on our installation date (even a few minutes early). They were very respectful and polite. They did a great job with the install and cleaned up every thing completely. They even asked for a broom and dustpan to make sure the work area was spotless when they were done. We are thrilled with our new air conditioner - our house stays nice and cool now. I highly recommend Estes Heating and Air Conditioning and we will definitely use them again if we need heat or A/C services in the future.

I purchased an A/C unit in 2019 paid over $5k. Contacted them yesterday to explain that I'm having the same issues again. Floors are back damaged in my parents home because something was not properly connected. Contact them 5.11.2022 to explain the issue. The person that answered the phone was rude and did not care at all. Told me I had to pay $69 for someone to come out.
I asked her why she got smart and had a nasty attitude. I requested to speak to a manager. She so called to down my name to have the manager or owner contact me. However, still nothing as of today. I guess I have to contact another company because this company install a new piece of junk that caused the floors to damage again. But what I get from the company is they do not care. They just want to take your money.

I just wanted to come on here and let you guys know these guys really care. They came to fix our HVAC system and we quickly realized we needed a brand new one, which is what we already feared. However they're so backed up they couldn't get to us till next Friday. The system had not gone completely out, however it was quickly on its way. I ended up calling them today to let them know I feared waiting all the way till next Friday, that it was already started to get hot.
I'm so mad I can't remember the girls name (I will get it tom when they open back up) but she and someone named Scott, who were the only two people there at the very end of the day quickly scrambled to send someone over to our house with 2 window units. When I explained to her I might try to wait it out for a couple more days, she stated concern over the highs the next few days and said "why don't you let us go ahead and come do this for you".
She was genuinely caring for my future circumstances, even do more than I was. They came very quickly and put them in. We have dealt companies before that basically told us there nothing they could do while we were sweltering. I understand sometimes that may be so, but I also thought k sometimes it's just too much for them to have to deal with maybe and wouldn't you want a company that did care?
They just left our house around 20 mins ago and I picked my phone up immediately to leave this review cause I could feel that they really cared about there customers. We will def always call them from now on!

I've been dealing with this company for years. My #1 service guy is Dough. He's friendly and professional. Really made my day today! Where do I start. The builder that built my house spared EVERY single expense possible. The A/C unit was no exception. As the years went by, it started becoming less and less efficient. My power bill was the first indication. Every season the bill went up. Earlier this year, the heat pump was freezing up. The emergency heat didn't work either. I got it fixed, but it cost me for the labor.
The parts were still under warranty. The same exact thing happened this season. I had enough of throwing money at this system, so I began my search for a company to replace it. I got plenty of suggestions from various places, however, I eventually when with Estes Heating & Air. It was the best decision I could have made! I met with Jimmy and he quoted me a Bryant (made by Carrier) system.
There were some supply chain issues, so I had to choose a better system. They were super generous giving me the best deal possible! To make a long story short, which this review is not, all the shortcuts that the builder took were fixed by the most professional techs I've ever seen. Everything that could be replaced, was. I couldn't believe it! The entire process was symphonic.
The only evidence that any work was done, is a warm and comfortable house. It's right before Christmas so I'm going to finance it through Alabama Power for now. I may pay it off early, not sure. TBH, my power bill was $250 - $300/mo over the summer. I'm guessing I'll save about $100/mo because this new system is ultra-efficient. Bottom line, I'm VERY happy and HIGHLY recommend Estes Heating & Air.

This place advertises themselves as having integrity. This is not true. These people lie. They will do ANYTHING to avoid fulfilling their obligations to their customers. They WILL NOT honor their service contract with you. They are only interested in doing as little as possible to appease you. I think maybe the Estes' have strayed from their advertised "integrity ".
The owner's, when contacted about our contract, were extremely arrogant and not very helpful. We will be VERY HAPPY when our ten year (ten long years) contract is up. We do not recommend them, at all.
