They did everything right! To start Jeff came out immediately and had a quote for me that same day. As soon as I gave him the "ok" he had a team out the very next day. The gentleman that came out and replaced my skylight were amazing! Fast and efficient! They were so helpful and kind. What a great company with great sub contractors. Also they have some of the best competitive prices. They have a warranty on the labor and the skylight. Just know by using Midwest Skylight, you will be taken care of.

After a few futile attempts to source a custom size skylight and someone to install it, I called Midwest Skylight instead. They got back to me within an hour with a great price and timeline and within 3 weeks my new skylight was in, for about half of what I would've paid had I gone to Lowe's/separate contractor route. This company is specialized, professional, prompt, responsive and reasonable, I'd highly recommend them as your first call for any skylight needs!

Jeff was able to configure a horizontal replacement Velux skylight with a solar controlled shade for our bathroom. He and his crew showed up on time and were done, cleaned up and gone in 1 1/2 hours. Its obvious they have installed these before and knew exactly what to do. The bonus is the solar tax credit.

They were prompt on quote and installation; gave me a heads up that my old ones were unique with a two layer system (plastic cover with a plate of glass resting on a frame in the sheetrock) and when they removed the old, it would leave a 1/2 gap showing rough sheetrock. It was exactly as described so nothing wrong with what they quoted and installed (were great on that.). I just wished they had a solution to repair that sheetrock as I'm going to have to find someone else with VERY tall ladders (vaulted ceiling) to repair that sheetrock.

We had a leaky skylight for over a year, and all the other companies we called either didn't answer their phones, didn't call us back, didn't come out when they said they would, and/or didn't follow up. Thankfully, Midwest Skylight came to the rescue! They actually called me back, came out to assess the issue promptly, followed up with a (reasonable) estimate and answered all of my questions, got me on the schedule for the repair the same week, and most importantly, did a great job.
It's so nice to not have to worry about my skylight leaking anymore! I'm hoping our other skylight stays leak-free for a while, but when it goes, I know who I'm calling to fix it.

Had an old leaking skylight and hired this company to replace. After new skylight was installed and I paid invoice and fixed water damage it rained heavily. New skylight leaked worse than the old one! I called and Jeff the owner was so rude and condescending. He said he replaced more roof shingles but after a short period with no leaks the skylight is leaking as badly as ever.
I recommend not hiring this guy but if you do then do NOT pay him until it rains heavily. Nasty guy and I suspect quite sexist too. Maybe a man would not have been treated as I was treated.
