Horizon Residential Energy Services has been improving homes' energy efficiency since 2007. We assist the energy utility companies of New Hampshire as a third-party contracting company in the administration, quality assurance, and overall execution of their Energy Efficiency Programs. We also play a hand in assisting customers in determining eligibility, program enrollment, and coordinating contractors within these programs.Our main role as a quality assurance team, Horizon Residential employs qualified and experienced inspectors to ensure the work completed by contractors in the Home Performance with Energy Star and Home Energy Assistance programs, is done to program standards, thus maintaining the programs' integrity and aiding the utility companies to continue pursuing the providing energy efficiency for their customers in the long term.

Since 2001, Horizon Residential Energy Services NH LLC (Horizon-RES) has been dedicated to providing home builders and homeowners with straightforward and unbiased advice to help you determine the most practical and cost effective ways to increase the energy performance of your new or existing home.
A quality assurance inspection (also termed as QA) is a comprehensive check of all the work your contractor completed at your home after you have participated in either the Home Performance with Energy Star program, or the Home Energy Assistance program. The inspection itself takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the amount of work that was completed.
Horizon RES NH LLC is a credentialed Quality Assurance contractor for the NH Home Performance w/ ENERGY STAR program and the NH Home Energy Assistance program for several utilities. We have conducted site visits at over 800 older, existing homes to assess and report on the effectiveness and adequacy of the weatherization improvements installed by the credentialed building performance installation contractors who work in these very important and cost effective utility administered programs.
A Home Performance with ENERGY STAR residential energy audit is specifically designed for homeowners who are looking for a clear picture of exactly what the causes and solutions are to their home energy performance and comfort problems. Certified Building Performance Institute (BPI) installation contractors will conduct home energy audits to determine what home performance measures would be cost effective to conduct at your home.
