I was very impressed with Dr. Drain Plumbing. They were very responsive and on time to my appointment. My bathroom sink has been clogged for awhile now and I finally decided to call in the professionals. I am so glad I did, my sink is now unclogged and I could not be happier! I have had Ryan from Dr. Drain out to my house on three separate occasions. All three times he was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He has been able to fix a couple of issues for us. The last time he came out we had water on the floor. He was able to determine that the dishwasher was leaking. He did not charge us a thing and was able to provide us with some really useful advice. I will always recommend this company as they are honest and they do excellent work.

We have relied on Dr. Drain for plumbing repair and maintenance for years, and they are inevitably reliable and provide prompt, excellent service. Ryan is a first-rate plumber. He not only does flawless work, but takes the time to explain the problem, the fix, and all of your options in a smart, articulate manner. He's always courteous and professional.

I also really appreciate April, who works in the office and is often the first point of contact in reporting a problem and setting up a service call. She's friendly, efficient, and prompt. I recommend this company without reservation for consistently outstanding service at reasonable prices.

We have been have been using Dr. Drain for close to 5 years. Ryan, our normal plumber, does outstanding work. Always takes the time to do the job right. The price has always been fair and the work beyond reproach. Then over the new years holiday our hot water heater started to leak thru the ceiling. Called Dr. Drain on New Years Day and the owner came out within 2 hours of me calling and fixed the our leak. He charged me the standard price to repair/replace the value, even though he came out on a Holiday. Highly recommend them!

Great service! Very responsive and prompt. Very friendly. Good and practical advice. Highly recommend. The owner made the service call and arrived early. It was a simple fix, and so he didn't feel the need to charge me. During his visit, he noticed our water pressure to the kitchen sink was low, checked out possible causes, and gave advice on some possible fixes. He did the same when I asked about how our water is slow to warm upstairs. I would definitely use Dr. Drain again should plumbing in my house go awry.

I called Dr. Drain as my hot water heater was not working. I spoke with April on the phone and she was able to arrange for Ryan to come out to assess and fix the problem thw next morning. He came and fixed the problem quickly and professionally. I would recommend this company to anybody requiring plumbing services.

Maggie Private 12 reviews a week ago Dr Drain in Hillsborough once again was wonderful. I've had them before so I called again. City water had a seed come through and it lodged in the Flapper leaving a constantly running toilet. They gave me a window of time for the same day but came within that first hour. He found the issue instantly and showed me the seed.

What I really appreciate about Dr Drain (besides that cool name) is I have learned so much. Ie: what NOT to put or flush in your toilet. Now I really appreciate that as it proves they are on the side of we the people. After all, the more wrong stuff we put in our toilet; the more we have to call them. Not to make this review too long I'll tell you one of several things I've learned Do Not put those 'wipes' in to flush. Stick to Toilet Paper. There is a lot more they teach. 10 STARS

Dr Drain's services were excellent. He was easy to reach. He came to our house in a reasonable time frame and he fixed our problem promptly without fuss. The entire experience was pleasant. This was the first time we employed Dr Drain. He is now our "go to" plumber.

Ted from Dr. Drain was absolutely fabulous! Friendly & efficient. He was scheduled to be at our house between 2pm and 4pm and arrived right at 2:00. We had a part break in our kitchen faucet just as we were leaving for vacation. We called Dr. Drain on our way to the airport, and they promptly came to our house (our neighbor let them in). The part had to be ordered, so they followed up with us right after we returned and installed it promptly. The plumber Ted, with whom we have worked before, was outstanding.

We have used various plumber in the triangle area before discovering Dr. Drain, who is by far the best in the area for customer service, price, and quality of work. We highly recommend them!

I have used Dr Drain for many projects and repairs over the last few years. Ryan has always been my serviceman and has always been prompt, professional and courteous. Ted was the serviceman today and he did not disappoint. He was quick to solve the problem and even gave some suggestions to save money. I do not know costs from plumber to plumber, but these guys are efficient and thorough. I'll call them for any future plumbing needs!

The company (Ryan) came to look at the problem without charging a fee. I appreciated that he took the time to explain possible solutions for my problem even after he found it was a masonry/concrete repair. That he would spend time providing additional advice even after he knew he wasn't going to be hired for the job indicates he has genuine interest in a good outcome for people and he probably doesn't take shortcuts when is hired for a job. (My specific issue was related to garage flooding as a result of a malfunctioning trench drain).

When making phone calls, I made it a point to reach out to smaller businesses rather than the brand names - in general, I just feel that the owners of these businesses try harder than those of large household-name companies to provide exemplary service to their clients. Ted, the owner, was the one to show up at our home to investigate a plumbing issue.

He was well-mannered, punctual, answered our questions, and did not try to sell us any unnecessary repairs. I would definitely recommend these folks, and I would call them again for any of my own future plumbing needs.

I had a leak at my kitchen sink and contacted Dr. Drain immediately, because I have used their services in the past for other plumbing issues and have always been tremendously pleased. Ted arrived as scheduled and after taking a look at my faucet, advised me that my Delta faucet has a lifetime warranty will send the hose assembly. The amazing part is that Ted did not charge me at all for the service call! I was totally impressed by his service. Ted was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Drain for all plumbing needs.

Dr. Drain Plumbing blew my expectations away by doing Great Work, staying in touch and getting it done in record time (even in the middle of a winter snow event). I absolutely have no reservations about giving them my highest recommendation and will not hesitate to call them in the future for my plumbing needs.

Exceptional service, with immediate same-day response to my request for assistance. All costs were explained fully beforehand and were reasonable. Dr Drain/Ryan has helped me on 4 occasions in the past 10 years on different matters (sewer & washing machine drain lines clogged; commode fill valve replacement; pressure reduction valve replacement) and they solved each problem permanently with one visit. I feel lucky to have found such a reliable plumber!

I would most highly recommend Dr. Drain Plumbers. My husband and I have used them many times and have always received prompt, courteous, professional, knowledgeable service. We have used other plumbing contractors in the area, but the technicians from Dr. Drain have been the best at diagnosing and repairing all our plumbing problems at reasonable prices. Trust me: you can trust them.

We were very satisfied with Dr. Drain! Called them for an estimate, they were the only folks that didn't charge to come out and give us one (we called about 15 other places). The technician (Ryan) was very professional and courteous and assessed what was wrong right away. We had a leak under our kitchen sink due to the fact that the last plumbers did a shoddy job (we knew this already and were just waiting until the leak issue got bad enough to have to have someone else come fix it).

The quote we received to fix it was reasonable and we asked if they could fix it right away, Ryan said that he could and that we should call the office to inquire. We called the office, they gave the go and the technician said he would be back after his next job. He showed up at around 6PM and was at our home until about 9PM fixing the issue (he had to cut into a solid cast iron pipe that took almost 30 minutes alone!

He basically re-plumbed our entire kitchen sink, dishwasher and disposal, and cleaned up the mess and the issue is now totally fixed, no leaks! We were very happy with the service and we would absolutely call again for our plumbing needs.

I was very pleased with all aspects of Dr Drain Plumbers. I put in a call b/c of a tenant's concern about a possible mold or sewer smell coming from a toilet. The lady who answered the phone was polite and helpful. Ryan was able to come out the same day (calling me first to confirm and give an arrival time estimate). Unfortunately the odor wasn't present when he arrived but he gave us his guess as to the cause: didn't want to make an unnecessary repair in case he was incorrect.

He gave my tenant instructions on how to document when and where the odor recurred so he could investigate further. He was prompt, kind, and informative and I really appreciate that he didn't jump at making possibly expensive repairs when he wasn't 100% sure of the cause! An added bonus was he gave us an estimate and didn't charge us for the service call. Thank you, Ryan! We have your number when the cause is localized.

Came on a warranty call in Cary. Sold my wife an "upgraded" garbage disposal for a $90 charge. Garbage disposal cost $80 at Lowes. They still charged the warranty company for the replacement, effectively getting paid twice. Dishonest service. Will tell everyone I know to avoid them.

Dr Drain has helped us multiple times in multiple houses. They are always prompt, courteous and thorough. Both Ryan and Ted are extremely knowledgeable and I trust them explicitly! Both continue working hard until they find the right solution. even if it means hanging out in our crawl space for hours! We will certainly call them with all plumbing needs!

I have nothing but good stuff to say about Dr. Drain, especially Ryan. We used Dr. Drain because we have an AHS home warranty. I submitted the AHS request at 9am, and Dr. Drain called me shortly after to schedule them coming out. Long story short, they had to make three trips to my house over a 2-business-day period. Ryan was very courteous, down-to-earth, and helpful with our clogged drain.

He even taught me how to extend our cleanout so that it will appear above ground for future usage. Highly recommend these guys, if only because they are the only service company I've used in recent memory that always calls me back quickly.

We've used Dr. Drain on several occasions. (We have an old house that requires a lot of attention.) Ted is very professional, in my opinion. He's quick to respond and very efficient. Most importantly, he's honest: he's told me when a repair isn't worthwhile, and he's explained how to do some small repairs on my own. I'm quite satisfied, and I'm a repeat customer.

We got taken by Dr. Drain. We had an appointment from 10-12pm and were at home the entire time. At 12pm I called them and they said I missed the appointment because the plumber knocked and nobody was home! They also said we forfeited our prepaid $60 appointment fee and would need to charge us again to reschedule. No way! It's a shake down, and when I called the appointment coordinator was very rude. BE VERY WARY OF USING THEM FOR HOME WARRANTY WORK THAT IS PREPAID!
