Fiber-reinforced concrete is concrete that contains millions of individual fiber strands used to reinforce and protect concrete. Why is it beneficial to add fiber to concrete? Fiber mesh helps to reinforce and reduce shrinkage cracking in concrete during the first critical 24 hour period. Applications for fiber: driveways, overlays, sloped walls, pools, colored concrete, patios, shotcrete, and many more. Fiber makes any load of concrete better!. Protect your home investment by adding fiber to your concrete delivery.
One of the most important aspects of concrete work is the quality and expertise of the concrete finisher or sub contractor. Finishing requires the skill and artistry of a trained professional. It truly is more art than science, but it also takes training, experience and some good old common sense. Here are some practical tips to help improve your finishing experience.

If you want quality Concrete, DO NOT use this garbage company! We havent lost concrete in 10 years. I had a project in Hooper UT, they sent trucks from Salt Lake City. Almost 1 hour away! They called me the day before and said " Hey we are going to be running an hour behind Schedule" so I called my pump guy the night before and said come at 8:00am instead of 7:00am.
Well they showed up at 7:05am. My pump guy came at the time I told him to because Altview told me they would be running behind. These trucks were burned up before we even tried to pour the garbage they brought! And you guessed it! We have to pay for the concrete plus all the tear out plus reforming and new rebar! Thanks Altaview for making it even harder to survive as a small company in utah! the worst Concrete in UTAH!

Terrible customer service! I called in for 20 yards today and yesterday and the day before and they kept rescheduling on me and lying saying they called but no one ever did! They give you the run around for 3 hours and tell you, you have to reschedule. DONT USE THEM! And the operators all have attitude like they dont want to be there or help! Terrible customer service please just go to Geneva or JBP anywhere but here! Save yourself time and money and headaches! Waste of time company!

I have done concrete since 2011 and dealt with several different ready mix companies, and I must say Altaview is by far the worst for many reasons. All the mixes seem a bit off which is bad for placing and finishing. In the winter they could never get our hot water and accelerants right. Send the wrong mix designs to jobs, show up late very often, always waiting on trucks etc. the list could go on for days. I'm being generous with my one star review just because it won't let me leave a half star.
