Taylor Made Custom Contracting

Three years ago I published the review below. In the years since, thanks to the remodel Kevin did, I wanted to say how much we have grown to love our home. We have been so satisfied that we have called on Kevin and his terrific team for other projects, including an outdoor porch that Kevin built for us last year. Again, the same attention to quality and detail gave us a porch that we still ask ourselves why we waited two years to have it built!

I cannot recommend Kevin and his team enough. Whatever project he takes on will be the best job you could get. Three Years Ago Working with Kevin and his crew from Taylor Made, to remodel my 1959 home, was a wonderful experience. The first thing I noticed about Kevin, and the reason I selected Taylor Made, was his ability to see and hear the vision I had for the remodel.

In addition to that, he continually offered suggestions that would help make my vision a reality. Kevin continually kept me up to date on the remodel's progress and always had quick and thorough answers to my questions, extremely valuable qualities for this project, since the remodel was done long distance. When I had the opportunity to stop by and see the remodel in its early stages, I was extremely impressed by the quality of the work.

It was easy to tell by the initial demo and framing that the work was top notch, with excellent craftsmanship. When I had to leave, I knew my remodel was in excellent hands, and that proved to be the case throughout the project. There were several pieces of this project that might have been challenging, but in every case Kevin was able to make my vision a reality.

By the time the remodel was done, I could truthfully say that Kevin and his crew had made my entire vision a reality. I was thrilled with my new home and knew that the job was well done and to the highest standards. Thank you Kevin and crew!

I had years worth of windows leaking into the walls that needed to be repaired. They did a very thorough job, not only fixing the damage but making sure that the new windows were installed correctly to keep it from happening again. My request to them was that the job be done right and they delivered 100%. The finish work inside looks great and the care they took outside was top notch as well.

The workers were friendly and polite and made a really good effort to make sure they cleaned up every day before leaving. On a logistics note, they were great at responding to communication and letting me know what to expect and when.

An outstanding contracting/remodeling firm. The owner, Kevin Taylor is very pleasant and straightforward to work with. The core crew we worked with, Craig, Doug and Roger were excellent. Taylor Made is very much focused on quality and craftsmanship. They were not the least expensive bid on our projects, but once we did one project, an addition, with them, we went right back for a major kitchen remodel. Respectful, thoughtful crew. Extremely quality and detail oriented. Reasonable pricing. As a long time homeowner, I have used several different contractors and TMCC is clearly the best.

Taylor Made Custom Contracting did a wonderful job remodeling my basement which included new flooring, cabinets, counters, windows, kitchen area and bathroom. Kevin, Suzanne, and Alan were extremely helpful from start to finish. All of their suggestions were in sync with the ideas I had in my head and Kevin made it a reality. With the current pandemic, we were a little concerned about having people in our home but they immediately put us at ease. Thank you to Taylor Made for doing a great job, and providing a comfortable atmosphere for my family all throughout the project.

Used Taylor Made to repair the exterior of my home after it was hit by a car. Kevin Taylor was very helpful and responsive. He even helped me work with insurance to make sure I got the necessary money from them. Very please with the work his crew did. They were prompt and efficient and everything is repaired and looks great.

Used Taylor Made to repair some extensive water damage in my house. I couldn't be happier. Allen, the worker sent to my house, was punctual, professional and meticulous in his work. In the end, you couldn't tell that my house had had so much work done. But, isn't that what you want? In the past, TM has done chimney work and put on a new roof for me as well. This work also was done to the highest quality. In the future, if I need any more house related work done, TM will be the only one I will call. Bob Duncan

Kevin Taylor, the owner, arrived on time for every appointment, discussed the job thoroughly, and made helpful suggestions regarding selections and materials. His estimate was fair and there weren't any surprise costs throughout the job. The workmen were friendly, neat, and professional. Kevin contacted us regularly during the remodel to make sure the job was to our satisfaction. We were very happy with the entire process and are planning to use Taylor Made for our next project!

When remodeling, the process is as important as the final product. We had direct contact with Kevin Taylor, the owner, throughout the project. He allowed us to choose all of our accessories and provided me with the prices. Everything was transparent. His crew was professional, friendly and respectful. They gave thoughtful recommendations and made every attempt to keep us more than satisfied.

I've used them in the past and will continue to rehire Taylor Made because they are consistently excellent. If you want a beautiful project from a trustworthy company, hire Taylor Made.

We had a tree hit our home in the March '18 wind storm. Kevin was instrumental when it came to dealing with our horrible insurance co (Nationwide is NOT on your side!). After three months of him tirelessly working towards a reasonable resolution with the insurance, he was finally able to begin work. Three weeks later my home is back to normal and we couldn't be happier.

The workmanship is superb, the guys who did the work (Andy & Doug) were professional, kind and very talented. I highly recommend Taylor Made Contracting and I hope to use them again in the future (hopefully without a tree falling on our house!).

We've hired Taylor Made a few times in the last couple of years so our kitchen project went as well as anticipated. Kevin was very straight-forward in explaining the upcoming process and pricing. I really liked the fact that he was so reachable if I had a question or needed something quickly. Since we were previous customers, we had the same carpenters as before.

That was comforting to us and they seemed to enjoy returning to our house as well. The lead crewman was such a perfectionist that I didn't have to worry if he would forget or miss something. That peace of mind was very valuable to me. Taylor Made is a bit more expensive than some, but we've reached the point in our lives where getting a deal is less important than an overall pleasant experience. I will certainly call Taylor Made when it's time for our next project.
