Jerry Bannister was recommended to us by a mutual friend who obviously had no knowledge of his incompetence. The contract specified the type of materials to be used in our deck and also the payment schedule. He used a different color Trex than we had requested and built the steps incorrectly. I let those mistakes slide. He would CONTINUALLY tell us when he would be out to work on the deck, and then not show up.
He would sometimes do this just one day in advance - "I'll be out tomorrow!" He then asked for payment in advance of what the contract specified and told us he wouldn't be able to complete our project unless we paid in full before it was completed. This guy will lie to your face with a smile. DO NOT TRUST HIM. The deck is falling apart and now we'll have to find someone who knows what they're doing to fix it.

Let's just start off with the project was six months past the completion date. Shoddy work and did not complete the project. Looks like an amateur built this deck had representatives from TREX fly out here to inspect the deck they confirmed it was improperly built and The product cannot be covered under warranty due to the insulation " The main reason we wanted TREX".
