So I am a refrigeration technician by trade I've been doing it for 18 years I came in to date and appliance parts today to get a simple defrost termination switch now I understand that they don't sell commercial equipment and this came off of a commercial reach in freezer. however a defrost termination switch opens and closes on rise and fall in temperature that's all it does and this was a clip on style defrost termination switch just like you would fine in your refrigerator at your house. he said without a model serial number he couldn't give me the right one I said will get me one that closes at 10° and opens at 30°. he told me he couldn't help me because he didn't know how to tell which ones did that.
It's actually written on the side of the defrost switch. if you're going to sell product have somebody that knows what they're doing working your counter. I actually represent a large food chain here in the Dayton area and I will no longer use Dayton appliance parts because I don't have time to waste I can get this stuff on the Internet and that's probably bad for your business to have people look for things on the Internet but this is why they do it

Scam artists. I was in a rush to fix my fridge so I ran here first. I expected the evaporator motor I needed to be about $50. They told me $155 and that I couldn't return it at all (god forbid it not work ). I got it and ran home to try to fix my fridge. I googled the manual for some insight and saw the part was $20 anywhere else. Really? A 775% markup over the $20 that other people are already making a profit on? And no return? Wonder why. Only go here out of sheer desperation.

They had what I needed when the family of five dryer went down! Kids need school clothes and jammies.! Uniforms need cleaned.! Then it got better; there's a new employee (his 3rd day) whose a little bit puzzled by a complex computer system and still learning. Suddenly there's 4 other gentlemen there with him all working as a team to get me checked out with my replacement dryer rollers and tension repair kit. Who ya gonna call, DAP! I love this town.

I've never had bad service or bad advice here, case in point: top rack parts broken and instead of ordering the whole $180 rack, they had the plastic side connectors (in stock) for my KitchenAid dishwasher. Saved me $120 right there. Any appliance part I think I need for a repair, this will be the place to go. Owner knows what he is talking about
