One of the most important appliances of the Utah household is the refrigerator and freezer unit. In this modern age, it is practically impossible to survive without it, and if there is any complication with the cooling system, any food stored inside can spoil tremendously quickly causing odors that are hard to get rid of and wasted money.
Whether you have a large family or a busy schedule, big loads can pile up. As a result, even the tiniest washing machine malfunction can cause the laundry situation to get out of hand fast! Quality Appliance Service understands the urgency for Utah residents to have working washers and thus provides a quality washer repair service that will ensure laundry days to run as smoothly and enjoyably as doing the wash can be! The "Rule Of Two": no more than two table spoons of H.E. (high efficiency) detergent, fabric softener or bleach.
While Utah has a wide variety of restaurants, there's nothing like a delicious home-cooked feast or a freshly warmed up take-home pizza. Maybe you're cooking for your family to have a sit-down dinner together or maybe you're just warming something up after a long day's work, either way, a broken stove or oven can throw a big wrench in what might otherwise be a lovely meal.

Just awful. Do NOT use this company if you want your appliances fixed. I waited 3 weeks to get a technician to look at our oven in the first place, now it's been almost another week and the parts haven't even been ordered. And they've shown zero urgency or competence. I've had to follow up every single time to get any movement and it's still not done. Switching to a more competent company to get the job done. You've been warned, STAY AWAY.

The absolute worst customer service I've ever seen. Ryan their tech told me he was worth $350 an hour to clean my ice machine because of his experience. It's a 30-60 min job. Ryan was among the most unprofessional and rude people I've ever allowed in my home. BEWARE. If this company makes this right I'll update here.

I rarely call for appliance services because I can figure out most issues. This time I was in desperate need with little time. So I called and explained our situation (grandparent just moved into our home and could not go a day without a washing machine). They let me know they would send a tech right over. I was elated. The tech came and listened to it and told me the pump wasn't working.which is what I had told him.
Then he said he would need to get a new pump and come back in a few days to repair it. I told him I could not wait and would gladly pay the diagnosis fee if he would give me the part number. He refused due to company policy. I called the office and they also refused to be of any help and were even worse to work with. They charged me $100 for the diagnosis.which they did not actually diagnose anything and would not give me the part number so I could hunt it down and install it myself.
The tech left and so I actually opened the washing machine so I could get the part number off it, I removed the pump and found a thin metal piece stuck in it. I removed the object and it runs great. The diagnosis was wrong, the service was awful, there was no empathy or customer care. I needed help right then and they only made my day worse. Worst service outside of government that I have ever received. Peter's Appliance in Provo has helped me in the past and have always been very informative and helpful but let me know that they would not be able to fix it that day so I tried a new place.never doing that again.

Our dishwasher was working before the technician arrived. He replaced a part and left. After he left, I could not run a full cycle. Quality Appliance said they couldn't get someone out for a WEEK AND A HALF. So I was left without a working dishwasher due to technician error that they made no attempt to try to correct, nor did it seem like they even cared. Fortunately I found another company to work with and they had the issue resolved quickly.

I have used Quality Appliance for years and they have always done excellent work for me. This past week however they went above and beyond to make sure my ice machine was up and running for the holiday! I know that an ice machine is not a top priority, but for my family and myself it meant everything. I will continue to use them!

Beware! I would never use this company again. When I received the estimate for $990.72 to replace my oven relay board I questioned the price. I called Dacor and the board was $313.13 with tax and shipping. Quality wanted to charge me $725.75 for the exact same part. I'm OK with with a markup on parts but more than double is outrageous! Buyer beware!

Unfathomable. Refrigerator was under extended warranty. Refrigerator was only 2 years old. The compressor was bad yet has a 10 year warranty. LG is refusing to reimburse us because they want the compressor back. The manager just spoke over the top of me, not allowing a word in edgewise. She just kept saying the EPA could fine them if they don't throw away immediately.
It is their policy. Yet, when I challenged why didn't the technician know about said policy so we could decide to keep it or not she dodged the question saying the EPA could shut them down if they don't dispose of the compressor because it has oil in it LOL. Stay away from this company, stay far far away

Started a repair in November 2020, it's now February 2021. $400 later and my dishwasher is still not fixed. Their specialist kept making "guesses" as to what might be the problem but only managed to drive up the costs of repairs. I called hoping to get some answers but was met with resistance and blamed for the problem because I had not let their 'specialist' pump the drain for another $100 which would have put my repairs at over $500.
Given my experience with QAS, who knows if them pumping the drain would have helped or if it would have been just another excuse to charge me more money. To top it all off, the repair was shoddy, unsightly, and poor quality. Long delays in between services. Sub par service. Sloppy quality of work (see pictures). Not knowledgable 'specialists'. All these things plus a now four-month delay with nothing to show for it justify this one star review.

I give this company 4 out of 5 because I had to wait a while to get them out to my house, but it was worth the wait! I have been without a working refrigerator for 5 months, having to deal with a warranty company. I was finally sent to Quality Appliance and they had my appliance working in a week! I could honestly cry from happiness. This will be the only company I let touch my appliances from here on.

Drove 250 miles from Ketchum Idaho home for an appointment I waited a week for. Scheduled from 2 to 4. Called at 3 and they confirmed a later time at 6. At 5 they left a message canceling and offering to reschedule. No way. Things change but they had no interest in my situation only theirs. Girl just keep saying MY technicians had a BIG job. We'll likely so. My advice is to direct your business to someone who is more professional and respectful. I would NOT recommend this business.

Very dishonest company! Stay away! They charge you $80 to diagnose and then give you a ridiculous estimate for repair. When you refuse to pay their completely out of this world pricing, you get stuck with an $80 charge. I called an honest company that repaired our fridge for 1/3 the price. Not to mention, look at all of their fake positive reviews!
Yeah right, did you really travel to Kansas, Michigan, Texas, etc. etc. for all those service calls? No, you hired a company to post fake reviews. Those fake reviews are still more legit than your company.

I first used QAS in 2016 when our 4 year old Samsung fridge suddenly stopped cooling (the freezer worked fine). Since not everyone services Samsung, I called around until I found QAS. They seemed nice enough on the phone and Adam came out a few days later to take a look. He took the panel off the back of the fridge (inside) and found that the whole panel had frozen over.
He told me.to the tune of $400 that the mother board needed to be replaced. Seeing that we didn't want to replace the fridge, we did the repair. Fast forward to June 2018 and the same problem. Adam came out again and the whole back panel was frozen solid. This time, he said it was the defroster sensor that couldn't tell when the panel started icing over so it needed to be replaced. Adam assured me that this would make sure that the back panel did not freeze over again.
The cost? Another $400. Now we are in January 2020 and our icemaker stopped working and a funny noise was coming out of the fridge. We decided to call QAS one more time to take a look before deciding to repair it again or buy a new one. This time, Frank came out, looked at the fridge for less than 5 minutes and said the fan panel had to be replaced. $300.
He didn't even take the panel off to see if it was frozen or anything. Oh, and that the icemaker needed to be replaced as well. Another $300. We paid the $70 diagnostic fee and said we wanted to call back about the repair. Just for kicks, my husband and I took the panel off the fridge and found the panel frozen over again. EVEN THOUGH WE SPENT $300 REPLACING THE DEFROSTER SENSOR SO IT DOESN'T FREEZE!
The fan was working fine and had no ice on it. Once we defrosted it, like they should have had us do, it worked fine. I called QAS and the girl who answered the phone said she didn't know anything because was new and not a technician. When I asked to talk to a manager, she said I had to call back on Monday. I had to call twice on Monday before the girl who answered the phone would even let me talk to the manager.
Not that it was any use. BRITTNEY the manager told me that it doesn't matter that the fridge worked after we defrosted the ice because we still needed to replace the fan. And because Frank "listened to my fridge and knew it was the fan" and diagnosed that the ice maker needed to be replaced, he had done his job and she wasn't going to refund the $70.
When I asked her why the panel was still freezing when we replaced the defroster sensor, she said appliances "evolve" and she couldn't answer that because it was past their one year warranty. I asked her again to refund my $70 because they didn't do anything and she said no. I said I didn't think it was fair to pay when they didn't really do anything and said maybe I should cancel my credit card payment.
She said that was fine because she also does the collections and she doesn't have any problem sending me to collections. I told her it was pathetic that they would hang their reputation on $70 and she told me she was hanging up because she didn't see the point of continuing the conversation. When I asked to speak with someone else above her, she said I couldn't speak with anyone else. I'm glad they just scammed me out of $70 this time and not another $600 like they tried. STAY AWAY!
