A-1 Rooftop Chimney Sweep is the premier five star chimney and masonry service provider in Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, and surrounding areas. Our Chimney Technicians are CSIA certified. We are active in the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG) and the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA). We believe in staying up to date with our continuing education.
Fireplace Remodeling: Remove your existing stone and replacing it with a more modern look by using Cultured Stone. Rebuilding: Tear down your existing chimney and can rebuild from roofline using, new or existing bricks and or cultured stone. Tuckpointing: Replace Missing or Loose Mortar in Brick Or Rock Chimneys and buildings.
We use a powerful vacuum that prevents soot and dust from entering the home, and we are careful to take precautions in order to prevent any mess. Of course, a chimney sweep cleans chimneys, but a superior sweep offers three levels of service, and each level will indicate the depth of the inspection: Level 1 offers basic services and inspection to readily accessible areas; level 2 provides additional checks of chimney conditions and interior flues, and checks of some difficult-to-access spots like crawl spaces and attics; level 3 includes inspection of those areas that have been enclosed.

Kyle and Ty were excellent! Our chimneys were in a really poor state. Just about to fall down on our heads! A1 rooftop came in with a competitive bid and ultimately repaired our rooftop quickly and within budget. Kyle and Ty were knowledgeable, efficient and provided us with a sense of security in our chimneys.

A-1 Rooftop Chimney Sweep team is highly recommended, as from the initial pleasant phone contact with customer service person named Janice, to the extremely knowledgeable and polite tech named Tim, we couldn't be happier with their outstanding service! While A-1 was able to get out and get our Blaze King Woodstove back up and operational, other businesses either never returned our calls or had an extensive waiting periods from 6-12 weeks, which was unsatisfactory when our woodstove is needed during the wintertime with snow on the ground. Give A-1 a call. you will be pleasantly surprised by how efficient they are at what they do, and they do it well!

I was very pleased with the service despite a bit of a scheduling miscommunication. Brandon was personable, and so very patient with all my questions. I also appreciated his honesty about one of my chimneys not needing to be cleaned. I felt he gave me straight facts & information and wasn't just trying to get $. Because of Brandon, my experience was a very positive. Also Janet? who answered the phone was very nice and helpful and took the time to remedy the scheduling problem. Thank you!

The A-1 crew just came out and installed my new stove The Blaze King Sirocco SC30 plus all new piping and a snow block for the roof. It was a job and Jeff and Tyler are awesome! I have been using A-1 Rooftop Chimney Sweep services for over 20 years and have been meaning to post a review. I purchased a new Pacific Energy wood stove two years ago and had it installed by A-1. They did a perfect job and the stove is incredibly efficient and beautiful. A-1 has cleaned my chimney and revived my chimney caps and have always done an outstanding job. Brandon cleaned my chimney today and listened to a small concern I had, then proceeded to carefully inspect and explain the simple fix of an added screw to the pipe vent. Again, a wonderful job. Thank you for being so conscientious!

The A-1 Team came out to inspect our 114 year old brick chimney. Subsequently we hired them to perform some restoration work. They came through with excellent craftsmanship, communication, and overall top notch service. There were many steps to the process spread out over a period of weeks to give the various liners, crowns, etc time to dry in the correct order.
Everyone who worked at our home was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. And the job was done right. Nice work gentlemen, would hire you again but probably won't need to as the chimney is now built for the rest of my lifetime.

We have hired A-1 to sweep out wood stove chimney for the last two years. This year was their third visit to our home. In the past their service has cost between $159-$179. This year we learned they added a $100 trip charge to their $179 service fee! REALLY! Better yet they never disclosed this when they called three times to reschedule our appointment. Needless to say we will no longer be using them due to this seemingly dishonest business practice! You only get doop us once!

Ron and his crew did an absolutely amazing job with getting my chimney up properly and to code! The whole crew was very professional and thorough. They were punctual and professional. They even fixed the wood stove I was sold by the "other guy" who had royally messed up the job the first- go around. I couldn't be happier!

Ron, Taylor and the crew did a fantastic job. In one day they rebuilt my chimney, took care of two fireplaces and added inserts. We are extremely happy with the work and the look of the inserts. We were also very happy to have it done so quickly with a nice large crew. Most companies only offer one or two guys and take several days. Thank you Ron, Taylor and the crew for fantastic job.
