Steve was fantastic! I had water coming from my upstairs into my kitchen That resulted in having to turn all my water off! Steve came out the same day I called and was fair with pricing, fast, clean, and very helpful. He offered recommendations for the rest of the work and definitely earned my future business. I have used straight shooter 5 times now. Because I was so disappointed in other companies in North Idaho I cannot tell you how satisfied I was to call in and they showed up the next day. Steve owner of Straight Shooter was great to work with, answered all my questions and was honest about what needed to be done. His team Nick, Jacob, Sean, Cody, and Steve were hard workers and got the job done quickly and efficiently. I had a hot water replaced and added a soft water filter system. Came to evaluate issue over weekend. Unable to resolve immediatly so did not charge weekend surcharge. Fixed in timely fashion once parts were available! Excellent and responsive service. I definitely recommend these guys. We were opening our cabin for the summer and upon starting the water pump we found the main valve had burst due to the extremely cold winter. Called late on Tuesday and Steve came out the next morning to inspect the damage. It was an old non-standard pipe and valve. Steve was able to find required parts in town. He and was able to come back out in the afternoon to make the repairs. We now have water and couldn't be happier.

These guys were amazing! Fair price and quality work. Even helped me turn off the water on a Saturday to my place when I went on vacation because I was worried about a leak. Were quick to deal with hiccups with my outdated and small heater and were totally calm and professional every step of the way. Never uncharged me or tried to sell me more then what they needed too. Prompt and professional service, even on a Saturday. I called at 7:45 a.m. on a Sat morning, expecting to leave voicemail and hope for a call back on Monday regarding a leak under my kitchen sink. Nope. Steve answered, said he had an appointment but he'd drop by on his way to diagnose. He arrived ~30 minutes later, looked at the issue and immediately fixed it.
The p trap had come loose, he tightened it and **voila** no more leak. To top it all off, I anticipated a $40-$50 service call for his effort, but he didn't charge me. I'll call Straight Shooter Plumbing in a heartbeat, no question, to help with any future plumbing problems I encounter.

I contacted Steve at Straight Shooter plumbing to repair a leaky faucet over my bathtub. He answered the phone himself and gave me an approximate estimate of cost for this type of job. He let me know when he was coming and showed up on time. I am very satisfied with his service. I feel his price was fair and it was a job well done!
