After 61 years of being in the business we have done every kind of iron job you can imagine, including exterior hand railing in Cincinnati, OH. We have been successfully operating a Christian family owned business since 1958 when Larry Goderwis founded Bob's Welding & Fabrication, Inc. Later in 1997, his two sons John and Dan Goderwis purchased Bob's Welding & Fabrication, Inc and renamed the company Elsmere Ironworks reflecting the direction of the company into a custom wrought iron fabrication shop focusing on more ornamental products.

I honestly am taken back by the quality of wrought iron design that they create by hand. they are works of art for sure. and in the field, the installers were extremely careful to get it just as I asked for it to be. I didn't get a second bid for my project because after seeing your showroom, and my conversation with Blake, I just got the feeling this company, I feel good about.

The end result for me is very beautiful 3 level entryway wrought iron railing with balusters well worth every dollar.

Elsmere Ironworks was great to work with from start to finish. They design and make everything locally which is a plus. Our salesman, John, helped us with all of our design questions, the office staff always responded quickly and the installation guys were friendly and knowledgeable. We had an iron railing installed in our screened porch and it looks exactly how we wanted it. This company is highly recommended!

I had to have a rail for the left side of my front entrance per my home insurance request. John came out measured and matched the right rail he had put in a few years ago, what a perfect job! The left one looks just like the right one. You would never know it wasn't done at the same time. The time frame was great and the men who came to install it were very professional and fast. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thank you all at Elsmere Ironworks for a job well done.

I am so glad I found Elsmere Ironworks. I know my job was pretty small but they were so helpful and professional from design to install that they made me feel that my little job was just as important as any other job. My railing is sturdy, strong and feels great in hand. I strongly recommend Elsmere Ironworks! (note, in the picture the crack in my step was NOT caused by the install, it has been there for years)

Elsmere created a gorgeous gate for our new wine cellar. We couldn't be happier with their work. This is the second time we've used them and both times they did amazing work. The designers came out to hear exactly what we wanted done, and gave us exactly what we were looking for in our gate. Installers were meticulous in their attention to detail. Thanks!
