When I hired StormTite I was hopeful I hired the right company. I was a little worried about my home with contractors out there doing a poor job or worse.
Patrick and I would like to thank you for the superior work done at 2180 Broad Street. The before and after pictures are very impressive. Your visits to the property while the project was going on were appreciated. The monitoring you did, along with the crews attention to detail certainly shows in the magnificent outcome. We have high regard for you and your company.

Our 40 year old ranch home in Oakland Beach needed the wooden (T-111) siding replaced badly. After 3 hurricanes, a tornado and even a few small earthquakes, it was time for an upgrade. We were thrilled to be able to book Storm-Tite Home Improvement to do the job. It was the best investment we ever made in our home, which we plan to stay in. The pandemic had set us back from our original plans to start the job in Spring of 2020. Lumber kept rising and building costs soared. Frustrated with waiting any longer and fearful that wood rot and bees would continue to plague us aging seniors (along with the Covid pandemic) we went in search of a quality reputable contractor.
As seniors, we were fearful of being taken advantage of by con artists who prey on the elderly. We settled on Ed Ladouceur's Storm-Tite company, after many glowing word of mouth reviews, and after visiting a job site in progress nearby. From first contact it was a home run. Ed responds quickly to your calls. He will come to your home and assess your needs and work up an estimate in a timely manner. He's professional, friendly and not a high pressure salesman.
He has a whole team of pros to attend to all the needs of your remodeling job. Storm-Tite also has a store front in Warwick where you can peruse different product lines in person, safely. He's got top-notch carpenters, siding installers, electricians, window installers, roofers---everything you need. Storm-Tite uses only the best products. We had a variety of siding styles and brands to choose from. Ed helped us save money and still achieve the curb appeal we desired by combining products when the cost of using the premium product for the entire job climbed out of reach.
He shows up everyday on the job site to check in with the crew. I liked that we discussed underlying problems (rot) that were found and corrected them before the house wrap went on. You will not get a one man band. You are hiring an entire competent and friendly team to get the job done quickly. They supply port-a-John so workers are not traipsing through your house, and all debris is trucked away daily.
The yard was left spotless. Every detail was worked out from what style window to the doorbells, lighting fixtures and hose bibs. The installation was done off season and workers showed up everyday rain or shine. To Charlie, Richard, Tawn, Steve and rest of the gang---thank you for your integrity, skill, and professionalism! We had complete vinyl (Norandek) siding in "Steel Blue" installed (with full Certenteed insulation wrap), matching blue steel awning over our air conditioner, 3 Harvey replacement windows, 2 custom built storm doors, all new rain gutters with leaf guards and downspouts, Invisiguard beaded soffits and all new vinyl-alloy trim in white.
Our house is 34x26. The 10x10 shed was sided to match. Storm-Tite is not cheap, but remember: you get what you pay for. Do it right and you only have to do it ONCE! Worth every penny. The entire job was under $36,000. The best! More stars if I could.

Time wasters. Had to wait a couple weeks for someone to come out for a quote for siding repair and siding on a new addition. Made it clear I was hoping to get the work done within a couple months, before the winter. Project was simple, maybe 1-2 days of work. Waited weeks and never heard anything back, ended up delaying me over a month before taking it on myself. A simple courtesy email would have been nice, won't be calling them again for any future needs

We recently had our roof replaced and we could not be more satisfied with the outstanding service we received from Stormtite. We called for a consultation on Tuesday and Ed was out at our house the next day to evaluate. He then provided us with a very reasonable estimate 2 days later and we decided to go ahead with them and sign the contract the following Tuesday.
While in the office signing the contract and giving our deposit, Ed was able to confirm the shingles we chose were in stock and that the work could be done on Friday morning that week! We were very impressed with the prompt arrival and how well coordinated everything went -- the different trucks arriving, unloading the materials, setting up a dumpster and the crew of workers who did an amazing job all in one day. Kudos to Richard, the project manager and the team assigned to our house that day! Stormtite is professional, reliable, friendly and thorough.
They were in great communication through every step of the way and the quality of the work was superb. From start to finish, we could not be more happy with the results and would happily recommend them to fellow family and friends.

Photos speak for themselves. Warranty sure for $300.00 an hour service call. Screens for sliding glass doors don't slide Windows won't stay open, they slide back down. Didn't even get what I ordered. Chose not to even use some windows I paid for, looked like section 8 housing windows. One looks like a jailhouse window. The workman ship is horrendous.
I was given puddy and wood crayons to try to fix it myself. This was a $25,000.00 job. Emailed them over a week ago. Surprise no answer. When I called the saleswoman was yelling at me.

We had two projects we wanted done in our new home before we moved into it. I tried calling different independent contractors and companies. It was difficult to find anyone to call me back, or when they did, I was told our projects weren't big enough to take on during busy season. Stormtite was easily accessible by phone. Thankfully the owner Ed was not only responsive but also very knowledgeable with what needed to be done.
Since we were still living in a different state we needed to trust Ed and his crew to go into our home while we weren't there. We are so thankful for the professional and timely work they did. It was quality work with a solid price tag but that was well worth it. I still have never met Ed in person but feel like I know him well with the very good job he did of calling and texting us pictures to keep us updated. I recommend Stormtite to anyone looking to do large or small projects on their home!

I used this company to do an extensive exterior renovation on my home. We replaced windows with special order custom windows, doors and siding. This was a very expensive job and I expected a lot more from an "A" rated Angie's List company. The siding looks good, however, the roof trim looks terrible. The trim has buckled twice now. They came back to add a sleeve to stop the aluminum trim from buckling, but it did not work.
I again emailed the owner a second time asking for the problem to be addressed. Not only did I not get an answer to my message, but I never received a phone call after almost a month. I have renovated 4 homes. I have a design and architectural background. I had the pleasure of working with professionals on each of the previous 3 jobs. I had moved to this area and used Angie's List as a guide to find this company.
I have spent time repairing damaged interior window frames, as well as, having them return to replace a door handle that I had not ordered to one that was closer to what I did order. I have "locking" patio screen doors that do not lock, because the place for them to lock into was never installed. When I pay for a job, especially one of this size, I expect to get what I have paid for. I have picked up numerous screws, plastic pieces and aluminum scraps from my yard. What ever happened to pride and quality in workmanship? I suggest you look elsewhere.

I recently had a couple of Velux sun tunnels installed by Stormtite Home Improvement. The installers Dave and Cameron showed up on time and presented themselves in a very professional manner. They took extreme care in protecting my furniture. In spite of a fast approaching storm, they managed to complete the installation without any incident. It was evident early on that they had the skill set to produce a very good quality end result and they did a fantastic job.
They made sure that they left my home clean of any construction debris. They were a delight to have in my home. I highly recommend Stormtite Home Improvement and their team of professionals to anyone having the need for their services.

Stormtite did a super job within budget and on time. They were not the cheapest of the three proposals we received but it was well worth it. The 2-family house is more than a century old and the wood shingles were falling apart after several coats of paint over the years. We replaced all 52 windows, from attic to basement, the roof, two entry doors, and one sun-room sliding door. Vinyl shingles that look like wood shingles were applied on top of the existing wood shingles, with an insulation foam board sandwiched in-between. Soffit work was done under the eaves all around.
The house looks like new now and is so well insulated that it feels far more comfortable than it used to be. And it will look new 20 years from now. The Stormtite team is excellent. They show up for work everyday when it's not raining and work hard and well without cutting corners. They clean up everyday and are very thorough at everything they do. I heartily recommend Stormtite for any exterior work large or small.
