Matco Builders (Marco) just finished an addition on our house and the job turned out better that my husband and I expected. Timing was perfect, crew was tentative, respectful and knowledgeable. Marco was very helpful when we were stuck on the design and always available when we needed him. We highly recommend Marco ( Matco Builders & Developers) and will be using them again in the near future for our home improvement needs. Pictures to Follow. Please DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY for any work on your home. I am a senior citizen who had an addition put on last July. It took them over six months to do a six week job. They never did complete the job, left me with missing items and a lein on my house. Marco, the owner made promises to complete the job and bring me the missing items and never showed to do any of these things. I consider him a horrible liar and a fraud. I am now dealing with the Attorney General. Extremely frustrating and heartbreaking.

Matco is building our new home in Hilton, NY. We are within days of closing. Everything has been done professionally, with extremely high quality and at a great value. Starting with design and going all the way through construction, we were always kept well-informed of what's coming next. This the third house our family has built (first with Matco) and it is the best experience of them all. I'd build with them again and highly recommend them to everyone.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value These people are nothing but crooks. The job was never completed it started in December was to be done in two months it's now late May. Job is not done and what is done is mostly have to be redone because of very shoddy work. Lie after lie and now no one answers calls

Did a horrible job on our bathroom. It's still leaking and it's harming the rest of the bathtub. Worst of all, no communication. We've attempted to contact him numerous times for several weeks. No answers and no replies. Avoid at all costs. We're even bringing him to small claims court.

Definitely go with a different builder of you're looking to build a home. The nicest guy in the world when you're ready to build and when it's time to close the deal. In between is when you will not like him. He doesn't put this customers first. Puts things off. Very little communication with customers. Building with matco made me never want to build a house again.

So many things wrong with the house when I moved in. Says he will do things and doesn't do them. I could list everything and this post will be too long. Spend a little extra and go with a different builder.

I contacted this company and spoke to the owner who was very nice about a project I needed done at my home. We agreed to a time for him to come out and give me a quote the following week. My husband took the day off so he could be home to ask his questions but the gentleman never showed. No call, no show! When I called the office I was told he had unexpected surgery but apparently there was no list to contact his customers to inform them he would not be there.

I made another appointment for the following week giving them the benefit of the doubt and once again no show no call. It must be nice to just not care about making money and I guess people's time being wasted isn't a concern either.

Matco did an amazing job on my townhouse. I had a wall knocked down and made into a breakfast bar. Matco was in my house working the day after I closed. Marco is very easy to communicate with and had all the answers I needed. They did a wonderful job!

Matco did a great job with my Garage/office addition. They were pleasant to work with, kept their promises, and the result exceeded expectations. I would unhesitatingly recommend them base on my experience working with them.

I can easily recommend Matco Remodeling to my friends. From Marco to John and all those that work for them, they are professional and do work in a timely fashion. Prices very competitive with others. This is the only contractor that I hired for a second job and would not hesitate to call them for any future job I may have. From my point of view they are second to none.
