Brownlow & Sons

I have to give this company five stars. They have been so decent and honest with their pricing. I met with Mehmet, he quoted the price approximately and told me exactly what would happen. They were referred to me through Marietta Neighborhood group. I got quite a few quotes and I can tell you that there are a lot of people that can cheat you out there.

I got one quote that was four times what they charged me. I got a few other quotes that were approximately the same however, I was so impressed with Mehmet who explained this whole process to me that I highly recommend them.

Critical: Responsiveness Apparently they don't need your business, tried 3x to get a call back to schedule, no response.

Everyone we have worked with here has been absolutely amazing. They were very thorough in their estimating of the job and detailed in explaining exactly what they would do. The crew that came to paint was professional, friendly and very careful with moving our furniture and things. They consulted with us on every room before they began, after the first coat and once they were done. I highly recommend them!

Not sure about all these high mark reviews on Top Picks for this company. I called them, asked them for a quote. They said they will call me back. Never did. I guess they do not like to do business with the client's who have strange sounding names and speak with slight accents. (I will update this review if they will call me back).

Brownlow is excellent. Everyone who works for him is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They show up when they say they will and do excellent work. If there is a problem, they respond quickly and make it right. They do not leave trash or signs in your yard and clean up as they go. We have hired them at two different times and for two different big jobs and were very satisfied both times.

Matt Brownlow helped us on a major renovation a few years ago. We couldn't have been more pleased to have chosen Brownlow and Sons. Matt is still my "go to" guy when I need contractor help around the house. He is prompt on returning calls, emails, texts; and gets the job done. A great guy to work with as well as all the people I have met at Brownlow and Sons.

I had Brownlow & Sons recently quote a bathroom remodel. The person that came to do the measuring for the estimate answered a phone call with me standing there in my bedroom, then proceeded to continue the phone call with me leading him down the stairs and out the front door. It then took over a week to receive the estimate. Although they seemed helpful in answering my questions, I was basically laughed at when I expressed that I found some of it to be a little on the high side. I think I'll try and find someone else to do this job!

We had 3 estimates done for our bathroom and picked Brownlow and Sons due to their reasonable pricing. They seemed to be busy and delayed our service for 3 months occasinally missing an e-mail here and there. As the time got closer, I e-mailed and called the contact to be sure I had everything that was needed. I never received an acknowledgement. The contractor finally called and set up a date to discuss our project.

When he arrived, he was hurried and wanted me to move the project start date to 3 days before they were to start originally. I explained that since both my husband and I work, we would have a tough time doing that. Leonard seemed not at all concerned about that. He was very apparently more interested in his other larger projects which he mentioned to me, and he took phone calls about these while at my house.

He also was not interested in doing anything more than what we discussed in the original estimate. The whole experience made me feel as though he did not care whatsoever about our project. The question is: Why did Brownlow take on the project and delay it for so long if they were not interested?!
