It is no exaggeration to say that Bill Sothern and his team at Microecologies saved our house. An unseen infestation of mold had made our home nearly unlivable-particularly for my wife, who suffers from asthma. Bill and his testers were able to isolate the problem, and point our builder in the right direction to enact a remedy. With a hands-on visual inspection behind baseboards, cabinets, and air conditioners, Microecologies found hidden mold in our living room, dining room, and bedroom. We hired Microecologies to do a mold inspection in a home we were considering. They did a great job! Not only did they find different kinds of mold in places where the general inspector told us it was clean, we were also able to use the data to get a lower price from the seller. Customer service was helpful when we had questions. All in all, great experience, well worth the money.

You'd think businesses would be falling over themselves when a customer calls in 2011. sent email. left messages. no response. reach someone on the phone and they are nice but zero follow up. SURPRISINGLY they are not alone in poor follow up. I hate to single them out. all the mold testers I came across on craigslist/basic web search failed to follow up.
I got emails saying we will get back to you with a proposal. Angstrom Mold - replied nicely with emails but encouraged me to pay a person in cash before work was fully completed. just felt like a scenario where "Angstrom Mold" was a one man home business using their real job's resources w/o employers approval to make an extra buck on the side kind of thing. Adelex Group, was rude on the phone. Habitat Safe Solutions - Email, phone calls with no follow up. AVOID THEM ALL
