When we moved to Raleigh more than 10 years ago we paid a lot to a tech firm to have its installer set up things at our home. Rob installed a 75 inch wall mounted TV for us in our living room. The entire process from start to finish was A+.

We had just bought a projector and screen off of Craigslist and realized we were in way over our heads when it came to doing a ceiling mount for the projector. After doing some searching I found A1. I'm glad I chose to go with Rob, he was in and out in no time, made everything look incredibly clean and very secure. Couldn't beat that price either! Rob is very professional and helpful, giving us plenty of tips and info afterwards and making sure everything worked perfectly. Will definitely have him installing any future projects! Highly recommended!

Just recently I had some work done on my movie room and had researched this business on Yelp and via their web page. There are a ton of installers in my immediate area but I leaned towards A1 because their page and the emails I have received from the scheduler and Rob himself told me that there was true enjoyment in what they do. I cannot count how many times I've had people show up to do work at my different living areas and act like it was an inconvenience for them to be there taking my money. Rob and a tech showed up and got immediately to work.

My room was assessed, my needs considered, and suggestions made about how to acheive the theater room I had envisioned. Once we all came to the same conclusions the work started. TV was mounted, wires ran through the wall (I cried just a little inside as holes were cut into my drywall), and the system was re-wired. Step-by-step adjusting of my receiver was completed and the settings made to bring out the best my system could sound. Rob supplied what wires I needed to make the proper connections and gave me options for upgrades when I was ready for them. Biggest thing after he was done and paid. he even took the time to program my universal remote with all of the devices!

No more multiple remotes! I'll be going back to Rob for additional work as it is needed. Well done! As for cost I will say this. For what he does it came out to about half of what a retail 'pro' setup would be. The home visit, the TV mount, the install, the wiring, the setup of the receiver and the programming of the remote would have been twice as expensive as Rob charged. All in all. it's a no-brainer which is the better deal.

I just called Rob and he no longer installs antennas. I have not used him for anything else.

Rob has done about a half-dozen separate installations for us. ( We gotta' stop buying stuff.) He has gone out of his way to tell us how all of our equipment works.and to write detailed instructions. ( That last item is sooooo important, especially for those of us who are a more than a bit electronically sub-inclined!) He is patient and thorough. Heavens to Betsy!

He seems to know everything that there is about equipment like this. We have recommended him to everybody we know who might need his expertise. Oh, did I mention that his price is unbelievably fair? It is!

A 1 Installer does great work! Robert has done work in my home and my place of business and is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend him for your electrical jobs!

I was extremely pleased with A1 Installer. They installed an antenna on my roof so that I could get HDTV signals without having to throw money away at Time Warner. The quality of the installation was fantastic. The responsiveness was great. They truly stand behind their work. A few weeks after the install, I was having some signal disruptions. They returned to my house to make the correct adjustments without any issue. These guys also do a ton of other home entertainment installations, and I'm sure that the quality is also wonderful on those services.

A1 Installer does custom home theatre, electronics, home network and antenna installations. I was looking for someone to put up a high power HDTV external antenna on our roof, similar to a satellite dish. (The internal antenna just wasn't picking up all of the channels we'd hoped to get.) 1. REPLY TIME. I sent an email into them and they were back to me within 24 hours. Things tailed off a little thereafter, it took a week to get the next reply, but things moved in the right direction. 2. ARRIVAL TIME.

They were late, but they got there. Wa-a-a-a-ay better than a cable company. 3. ROOF INSTALL. They put the antenna up on the roof exactly as asked. They did all of the right work, had the right parts and the job looks great. 4. IN HOME. They had to wire the antenna into our attic. From there they got it down to our home cable box, and out to all of the TVs. I'm very happy with the work they did.

If they'd been on time and a little more responsive = five stars. The great thing is that I can now get rid of my cable and save $100 / month and still get good HDTV service.
