These people out here driving wreckless, trying to cause accidents! If you are going to have your business and phone number all over your van, maybe don't run people off the road, drive erratically and tailgate in heavy traffic?! Seriously unprofessional and dangerous. I would never hire you based on what I just witnessed on the 405 freeway.

We were forced to use this company by our HOA and had the worst experience with them. They misdiagnosed the issue- told us we needed to gut our ceilings for a water leak to find the source when it was as simple as a leaky faucet upstairs. They ended up charging us over $1,800 for answering the phone a couple of times and showing up and not doing any work.
In the end, we had a local plumber come out, charge us absolutely nothing, and diagnose the problem. These were by far the worst contractors we have ever worked with- and we have worked with quite a number of them, especially when my husband works in this industry. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. Beware!

These are the Facts: McLeod demolished my dining room wall and part of my ceiling due to a water leak from unit above. They showed up at my place at least on 2 occasions for the mitigation unannounced even though they said they would call ahead of time. When the mitigation was complete, I asked what the next step was and I was told they would be in contact with me to schedule putting my wall back up.
No one ever called me. I called them several times and was told Joe would call me. Joe never called me. When I called again I was given another person's contact info who was supposed to be in charge - Deb Hardy. I called her and left a message. She never called me. They did the job for the unit above mine where the leak had originated from. This happened 2 months ago.
Opinion part: Karen, the lady that took my phone call on several occasions is very condescending and obviously not helpful. If you don't want to do a job just say so. McLeod has some good workers but I would never in a million years be able to recommend them.

Edit: I had a conversation with the company and they were able to pull the project through almost to the finish line. They have been more professional, the quality of the work increased to a point of satisfaction. They were able to send better folks to finish the work. I am mostly satisfied with the floor and cabinets with some other things to work out with.
I would say this is a nightmare experience for me to deal with McLeod, this company will take a long long long time to get anything done, if you would like to get your drywall fixed, wait for a month, install flooring, not sure how long it will take at this point. Out of the selections they provided, two of them I choose is back-ordered and one of them is discontinued, and it will take them each about one-two weeks to get back to me.
Time is not an essence for this company. If you want your projects done quick, look to another company. Btw, they want you to take care of their mistakes. If their guys locked themselves out during lunch, they expect you to come to the rescue. If the selections they provided are not available, they expect you to go to a local market to select for them.
If you text/call them weekly, they get annoyed "If you are patient, we will take care of you." What if I am not after three long months, you will not take care of me? Insurance paid $50K+ to them in exchange for this kind of services. Save yourself headache and go somewhere else.

My wife and I own a townhouse that is part of a complex that has paid $40K (each unit) to have this company put on a new roof, and replace windows and siding. Their employees seem to be polite and generally easy to deal with. The supervisors on the job I would give mixed reviews. For instance, we had workmen covering skylights for the new roof. Unfortunately they were not careful with the ladder so we had permanent marks on one bathroom floor linoleum and an outright gouge in another bathroom floor piece of linoleum.
The first and second construction supervisors acknowledged the problem, but by the time they actually got around to fixing things like damage they caused, it was denial time. A very different attitude from the construction supervisor now. So window sills are not painted after being damaged when new windows are installed, and no repairs of linoleum. Plus, they do not clean up after themselves very well, so we had a flat tire from a nail.
Another time they left materials in our driveway which damaged our car when my wife backed out of the garage. They took pictures but so far no fixing of the problem. Unfortunately I cannot recommend them due to their sadly dishonest and careless approach to completing a job.

McLeod is Very untrustworthy, unprofessional construction company. Craig Goodmansen is not a responsible person and none give you any details of what they are doing. They are big liars and for a small repair making your whole place down for couple months. They just like charge you and your insurance company thousands and thousands dollars and take it for ever to repair it. Mcleod had a complaint in the Attorney general office in Seattle but they never respond to this complaint as they knew how they are doing and dont want none watching their messy job.
If you have any complaint just contact with Attorney general office and dont let this untrustworthy company makes your life miserable, with their lies. They are making your pocket and your bank account empty:

This is the worst, most unprofessional construction company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. While they work on replacing our roofs I'm having to walk around, day after day, picking up the hundreds of loose roofing nails and other dangerous pieces of scraps that have been dropped and left on the ground by their crew in areas that our and our neighbors young children play on a daily basis. These nails have caps around the head that causes them to point straight up when they're laying on the ground.

I have been in the construction industry for 25 years and I have seen every kind of contractor. I have worked for McLeod Construction for several years now. I am proud to be a part of their team because of their value system. They are honest, fair, and most of all they have integrity. Not all projects are easy, in fact many are hard. I judge people and companies by how they do when things are not going the best.
I can assure you that McLeod always does the right thing regardless of their bottom line. Their Project Managers, Field Managers, and crews all share this value system. If you are looking for a great General Contractor I strongly suggest meeting the team at McLeod.
