At Green Mountain Painters, we like to think we are a different kind of painting company; one that is dedicated to a core set of values and loyal to our founding principles. Each member of our crew believes in the mission - to Paint Smarter every day, to continuously elevate the standards of the painting industry, and to deliver unparalleled quality, value and customer service on every job we do.
Thank you for your interest in in working with Green Mountain Painters on your upcoming painting project! Unfortunately, at this time we are just about booked up for the 2022 season, and as such we are not currently able to provide new estimates. You may still submit an estimate request if you'd like to be placed on a waiting list for estimates.
In Vermont, we are no stranger to inclement conditions. From the sweltering heat and humidity of August to the freezing depths of January and all of the rain, wind and snow in between, there never seems to be a shortage of environmental challenges to face. At Green Mountain Painters, we know what it takes to provide your home with the absolute best protection against these elements: A top-quality paint job.
If you have a home that was built before 1978, there's a chance that there was lead-based paint used somewhere on it. The older the house, the more likely it is that you will have a lead paint risk to deal with. We strongly recommend hiring a certified lead inspector to test your home if it was built within the last 50-60 years and store-bought lead test kits turn up negative results for you.

Ben and Tyler just finished up painting our house and we could not be happier. They are extremely professional, did a fantastic job and did not cut any corners. Even on the day they were meant to come over to give us an estimate not only did they call to tell us they would be 10 minutes late (much appreciated but honestly I wouldn't have even noticed), after walking around the house, asking some questions on exactly what we wanted to do they were able to come back with a fully detailed and printed estimate on the spot for us to review.
We had gotten some quotes from other painters and none were this organized so we knew the job would be done well and efficiently (and it was). They took great care when scraping and making sure to remove ALL the paint chips (it looked like a haz mat site for a few days : ) The entire job (scraping, priming and painting) took less than a week even with a few afternoons of rain. Tyler was extremely helpful in picking out color schemes (who knew there were SO many shades of white?!) and we could not be happier with where we ended up. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
