I had the pleasure of having Jake from Bay State Pest Control come to my house to perform an inspection for the possibility of mice and treatment recommendations. He was such a gentleman - very knowledgeable., polite, efficient and I will definitely be using this business for all my future needs. The company is very lucky to have Jake as an employee.

I called five places they all said a week I have a year program with yankee they said two weeks I called This company I was in tears not only within an hour did leanna sent somebody out they were so thorough that I was so impressed but I'm definitely drop in Yankee October my ear is off I will never deal with those people are getting Yankee pest. control is awful I will definitely be using bay state from now on And they talk they sent out took the time to talk to me explain different things that I could do and said if I had any problems to call dad he would immediately come back out they were freaking awesome if you have problems with any kind of pest termites anything I would definitely say call themand the tech I forget I believe his name wasJustin or Josh All I know is they were awesome thank you so much definitely will keep using them kim Prader florentino

I have recommended Dana and his crew from Bay State Pest for over 20 years! Dana personally handles my crazy sister and her issues with anything that moves! I personally have had them at my home for bees, ants, etc. Most recently after a home inspection Dana came to the house quickly to determine that some damage was. ancient and nothing active. I do believe that he saved the deal because his knowledge and experience is second to none!

Really amazing customer service and excellent communication. Returned our call super fast and spoke with us over the weekend for as long as it took to help identify the main source of the infestation. They really cared about helping me. I trust them fully and will be a customer for life.

I was having a problem with a ground hog tunneling in the yard. The cost to set the trap was $159.00. After two days, a racoon wandered into the trap. The cost to release the racoon was $79.00, and the trap would have to be re-set at an additional charge of $159.00. If the groundhog had been caught, it would have cost $199.00 to remove it. So I spent $238.00 on NOTHING.

They tell you that this policy is disclosed in the materials they email to you AFTER they have come to the house and set the trap. I'd rather have a ground hog in the yard than hire this deceptive company.

I thought I'd retire here but I guess not. In September of 2019, business had slowed down. I was a seasonal employee. My hours were cut from full time to 20 hours a week. I couldn't live off it. I went upstairs to speak with the owner explaining I couldn't live off the hours being cut and she laid me off right there. I showed up everyday and did my job and I felt that I was one upped.

During my lay off, my position was abolished. I did a lot of the behind the scenes things like filing since they were on the paper system. I honestly loved it there. I got along with everyone. The job was easy. It was a nice switch from working the front line in customer service for 30 plus years. If things went well, I would be rehired in March. I called them in January, February and March.

It wasn't until mid March when I was told my position was abolished. If I had known that prior to mid March, I would have done things differently. So now, I was in a panic. I had bills that I accrued during the holidays and that I was banking on paying off once I was hired back. Then Covid hit. I don't know what the owners are looking for in people they hire.

They had one of the best crews. All of the girls really did above and beyond their call of duty there. They keep the people who steal from them but they let go the loyal ones. Pretty messed up if you ask me. It is a high turnover rate. The owners have a lot of stress on them between family and business and sometimes we are the ones it would be taken out on.

Being "older" I got it more than the younger ones but it's still not cool. I wish them the best but they will never get better than us. It's their loss and someone else's gain. I think they just need to get their priorities straight on the business side.

I have used Bay State for years both at my home and for our business. They are reliable, they know bugs! and mice and they are always professional and happy to accommodate my needs quickly and efficiently. I am afraid of bugs and they are my knight in shining armor! I have ALWAYS purchased the service contract (which is worth every nickle) they come as often as is necessary, bees in my diving board, behive in a bush, mice in my garage, ants on the walkway.you name it they take care of it. From the customer service, to the effective trapping of the critter terrorizing my pups, they were extremely helpful. Thank you for a great experience. We can now relax when letting our dogs out in the yard.

Love this company. My house and yard was a bee magnet for all kinds of bees. I went for the contract and find it is well worth it. They come out automatically and do their thing to the house and perimeter for bees, ants, pedes, spiders, flys, etc. If I do have bees anywhere in my yard later in the summer, out they come quickly and zap them (ground bees, bush hives, etc.) My mower buddy is allergic and hit a nest 60 yards out from the house (I have sunny lawn, meadow, bordered by arborvitae, and shady pines) and the tech will be here within the hour to zap it under contract.

I can NOT deal with house centipedes, so when I saw a giant one last year in my kitchen SINK, I freaked out, then called these guys. They sprayed last summer, and I haven't seen a centipede since. I just had them come back again, more as a preventative measure. I like the peace of mind, knowing I'm not going to cross paths with one of those nasty, demon-spawn, multi-legged horrors.

Both times the technicians were professional, courteous, and quick, but today's guy went above and beyond, as he took a minute to tighten the latch on my gate! (Really, only a minute, don't want to get him in trouble!) :) Oh, and the year-long contract is fine by me.

Had wasps and ants. They sprayed. Wanted me to buy a year-long contract, which I refused (why pay extra for them to come back - if they do the job correctly, they won't need to come back, amirite?) Two days later ants back with a vengeance - more than the first time. I call them to come back. Mass confusion because they can't fathom that I didn't sign their standard year-long contract.

Apparently they talk most customers into it. They very reluctantly agree to come back and spray again. I still have ants, even after the SECOND spray. I tell them I will give them one more chance to get rid of the ants that I paid to have exterminated and if it doesn't work, I want 1/2 my money back (I asked only for half my money back because they did, in fact, take care of the wasps.) I have phone conversation with an angry person from their office. I am sent full refund a week later, telling me they no longer want my business and do not call them again. No problem!

When we moved into our house it had been uninhabited for a year. We had serious spider issues, as well as a lot of carpenter ants. We've had a yearly contract with Bay State Pest Control (they spray three times a year) for a few years now, and our spider and ant problems are non-existant now. In addition, we've had them out once for a hornet nest problem and once for a mouse problem, and both times they came within 24-48 hours and took care of the problem with immediate results. Best of all, all of this is covered under our yearly contract (which is reasonably priced). I highly recommend them.

We used these guys when our new house had an ant problem. They came in and got rid of the issue very quickly for a very reasonable price. Part of the contract included a year of coverage with unlimited return visits: if you see anything and want them to have a look they will send someone out, usually within 24 hours. Very reliable and effective!
