Jason took on the role of general contractor for the entire project, and his subcontractors did extremely good, solid work. Jason was easy to work with and very knowledgeable. I have been dealing with Jason and Claire for about 6 years now, and they are the best! I've never had a problem with a clean, though once when a rental guest had some concerns, they popped back in the same day. In addition to management, staff has been the same for years, so they know the quirks of my pool and spa and are able to handle accordingly. Once, when I needed an expensive repair that I had to put off, they were great about providing a "band aid" solution until I could afford the permanent one. No pressure at all. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great service at reasonable prices!

My husband and I bought a house in South Nags Head and were looking for a pool contractor to add a pool. There were several other items that we wanted such as a back deck, hot tub and outdoor living area. We met with Jason and another pool contractor before we bought the house to see if it was feasible to build the pool. After our purchase, we chose Soundside pools and Jason and were so glad that we did.
He listened to what we wanted and added his own ideas to help us create a plan. Jason took on the role of general contractor for the entire project including moving our septic system, pulling permits, decks, electrical, concrete, pool and hot tub, grading, and storm water management. His subcontractors did extremely good, solid work. Jason was easy to work with and very knowledgeable.
There were some delays due to new permitting requirements, but that did not take away from the end product. Beautiful work and we couldn't be happier. We have received many compliments on the project. Thank you, Jason.

This was our first experience with Sound Side Pools. We were looking for someone to close and winterize our inground pool and after calling around for prices, they were the least expensive so we thought we would give them a try. Their office manager was so nice and managed to schedule them to come in just a few short days. They showed up when they said they would and in just a very short time had the pool pumped down and vacuumed, the lines blown out, chemistry adjusted, pump and filter drained and the cover installed.
They did have to come back to put a floater with chlorine into the pool (we didn't have one and they didn't have one on their truck) so, all in all, an excellent job for a very nice price! Looks like we have our new pool company! Very happy!
