Great service, quick turnaround. We are in love with our new awning!

Long time customer. Most recent issue was a dripping filter plug on the Pentair FNS filter due to cross threading, a not uncommon event. The drip rate was minimal, and the repair was not urgent, but the service call was still very prompt (within 5 working days of my request). Scot from Great Valley Pool Service knew exactly what to do to fix the issue (retapped the filter base threads), and the filter is now leak free! The entire repair was completed in less than 30 minutes. Very happy to have a knowledgable team address problems as quickly and professionally as Great Vally handles them.

Stopped in to make what I thought would be a quick purchase of a few swim noodles. Took longer than I was expecting since the items were not priced and could not be scanned in system. I give credit to the employee. He remained calm and solved the issue eventually.

We had a 20' Sunesta awning installed by Great Valley Awning on April 22nd. These guys did an amazing job and we're extremely happy with our choice. The entire process was flawless, from the purchase and order of the awning to the installation. I would highly recommend Great Valley Awning!

We have been using their pool services for over a decade. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Evolving and upgrading their services as time changes. Organized and prompt in time of need. We will be sticking with them until the day we sell our house! (and miss our pool)

I had a problem which needed professional advice. John explained what obstructed my skimmer and how to repair it; the pump I needed to purchase to save money, and get energy rebates; and how to complete the winterizing process with a fractured pump. He did all of this quickly and only for a $50 consultation fee. What a steal. I made the appointment on line at night and Great Valley responded the next day, texted that evening, and showed up the following day. It doesn't get much better than that!

Everybody at Great Valley Pool is so far superior to any other pool company. The service man the manager of the people that work there, I couldn't be happier. I thought I had a major filter problem however your repair person recognized a simple issue and took care of it. He was professional and knowledgeable. He also took the time to discuss overall pool management and was a goldmine of useful suggestions.

My current pool pump blew the breaker and was leaking oil. I called Great Valley and sent pics of the pump. I got an estimate for a new variable speed pump in minutes! I accepted and scheduled the install, they came out a week earlier than promised, and diagnosed the problem as a blown capacitor, easy fix but I opted to get the new variable speed pump, love it, super quiet, programable, and promising to be way more efficient.

I heard great things about this company and they came recommended but this company schedules a pool cover quote and last minute wants a $50 quote fee the day before they are scheduled to come out to measure. No fee was discussed during the 2 other phone calls about getting a quote. Understanding that the fee goes towards the cover but that's just poor business. Losing potentially thousands of dollars of business for a $50 fee.

I always get three quotes and would never pay to get a quote (and didn't with the other 2 quotes) that's the cost of doing business and earning a lifetime customer. Instead you lose a a potential lifetime customer who just moved to the area with a pool that needs future repairs and a brand new cover installed. Pool business model unfortunately. Prefer to use local over the National stores but can't justify paying for a quote to earn my business.

Last week we were fortunate to have Nicole wait on us to test our water. We have had the pleasure of knowing her and reaping the benefits of her knowledge for thirty years. Our pool was way off balance and with Nicole's guidance and expertise we were back on track in a week. Her outstanding service and knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Billing issues, poor communication, , poor follow up. Pool guys seemed knowledgeable and friendly office and owners are the problem.

We have been a customer since 2003. GVPS are incredibly responsive and very competitive. We just had an issue with our filter. Even though they are deep into the closing season, they got someone out here in 24 hours. We open and close with them and buy our supplies from them. Highly recommend!

Requested service online. Received a prompt response. They showed up on the day they said they would. Timing of an appointment is not firm but wasn't a problem for us. Service tech was polite. Explained what he did. Weather was miserable and cold so just impressed that he showed up. Repair was completed and works.

Great Valley Pool Service has given us GREAT service for almost seven years now. They always respond quickly, with professional, efficient service at a reasonable price. We know we can count on them.

Great people and Great service make Great Valley pool an excellent place to do business. There Polaris day is amazing. Really nice owners.

I had 2 bad experiences with Great Valley. They came to open my pool and left the backwash waste open. The pool emptied over the weekend while we were away and the pump ran on empty. I called and they never apologized. Then they came to service my pump which had a leak on the shaft joint. They over tighten the pump and cracked the pump where the bolt attach the joint.

I called them and they will not come back out to fix their own work claiming that they are too busy and that I am too far. Avoid them at all costs Update on their response: just for the record I called a week ago, and was told to expect a call back. Never heard from them, I subsequently called 3 times, never requested same day service, although expected them to correct fairly promptly their own mistake. No specific date was given except as they said in their response "you live too far away and we will get to you whenever we can". Seriously.

GVPS has been a consistent source of great product and even better information over the years. I really appreciate Nicole's understanding of how maintaining a hot tub is so different.and having the patience with guy who did terrible at chemistry class.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I called them for pool tile & coping repair. They referred my to David Ettore & we contracted w him. When they drained the pool, they destroyed the end of my driveway bc of the water flow. They were here for 5 days and still did not have the entire pool gutted, yet they started to re-brick my pool. Not to mention, the worker showed up drunk & walked off the job.

They also did not remove the pool plug & the current pool guy I have now said if it would have rained, my entire pool would have cracked! I am now in the midst of filing criminal & civil charges against all parties involved.

Use these guys if you know what you're doing and just don't feel like doing it yourself. Everybody makes mistakes but most reputable companies don't run from them. Damaged pool and then demanded $$ to fix.

We have had Kyle (K2) for almost 10 years! He knows my preferences as far as chemicals and maintenance. He takes very good care of our pool! He makes having a pool easy.

Great service, friendly people. Just be aware of a young man by the name of Kyle. He is very fond of himself, know it all attitude, not very respectful of clients. Other that this individual, everyone else is fantastic! I also recommend Great Valley Awning!

Stopped by to grab skimmer baskets - our first visit. We had a few questions about our pool that came with the home we bought in the fall. The tech we spoke with was very knowledgeable and took a good deal of time with us to learn about some of our observations and really problem solve some potential ideas and let us know both quick as well as longer term suggestions. Felt very much like they were interested in helping and not just out to make a buck! Will def be using them in the future!

I have used great Valley Pool service for many years. I appreciate the convenience of having my water tested and purchasing my chemicals at a fair price in the same visit. The assistance I received from Nicole and Chuck are always helpful. In fact, Chuck actually provided a "telephone consult" regarding a question I had about my filtration system.

I also appreciate the service they provide. I have always been able to schedule the opening and closing of my pool during the week (and often the exact day) I had requested. Also, when I had a problem (damaged filter pump) they were able to hook me up with a replacement ( and rebates from PECO and the manufacturer) in relatively short order.

I always like to use local family owned companies however ever since they were taken over the level of service has declined dramatically. The staff inside the store has become rude and abrasive. The store location was great as it was close to my home -now I travel twice as long to get my chemicals etc. In addition, I no longer use them to open/ store my cover/ or close my pool. If you are a pool owner you know it that is a big loss for them not me.

Over priced and terrible customer service. There are several others to choose from that are simply better at servicing your pool at a lower cost.
