Wet Pools

Wet Pools are simply awesome. They built a beautiful pool for us in our old house about 8 years ago, and recently built a second and more beautiful pool for us in our new home. Doug did a great job starting from designing the pool realtime with us while sitting in their office, and giving us ideas/options that met our requirements, all the way through managing the construction of the pool so efficiently, which led to finishing the pool in 7 weeks, when a lot of our other neighbors who used other pool builders, were taking more like 8-10 weeks to complete their pools.

I am a very picky person by nature of my profession, and Doug was very patient with me and answered all my questions in a timely manner, and helped me stay the course and avoid any unnecessary changes to the design that could have led to additional cost. Needless to say, their cost was very competitive compared to the two other builders I received estimates from. I would definitely recommend Wet Pools to anyone who wants to build a new pool with a reasonable cost and a high quality final product.

I have been searching someone to help with clogged pool lines for two weeks and other companies either did not want to take the job or did not show up. I called Wet Pools and they were able to come to my house the next day to service my pool while I was at work. By the time I got home, problem solved. So I'm very happy with results and the customer service was so nice to work with. I will be using this pool company for future needs. Thank you!

All pools take time, duration for the finished product & enduring messes. Our finished product is a dream come true! Even some of the unknown mistakes were to our advantage. We were not charged more than the final quote and ended up with a superior pool from the ground up. As things evolved we were continued to be asked what options would could take.

Several options that made our pool stronger, with better amenities, including some of my own art tiles into the upper border rim. We have water falls that we didn't order, but not charged for because the plumbers made the mistake. It is truly everything we wanted & more. Integrity really matters to this company!

Frank has also taken time to walk me through different ways to keep the pool in optimal condition between cleanings which is certainly helpful. I can't say enough good about Wet Pools owners and their support staff. We started our project 2 weeks before the Covid-19 outbreak but that didn't stop Wet Pools one bit. They kept every milestone and finished the project on time & on budget. The pool is everything we had expected and more. Doug and Colleen worked tirelessly with us, not as a pool contractor, but more like really good friends. I would recommend Wet Pools to everyone in the Katy area above all other pool and spa providers.

We were fortunate to have Wet Pools build two different pools for us. Each time they were great to work with and cannot recommend more highly. They listen and work with you on the design and budget. On site for every major item during the build process to provide peace of mind. We had the prior pool 14 years and never had an issue which made the decision to use again even easier. Completed this pool in 7 weeks under trying times with the COVID difficulties. If you want a low-stress option to build a pool, give these guys a call.

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Wet Pools. We spoke with a half dozen pool builders and one of the deciding factors in choosing Wet Pools was knowing that the owner of the company (Doug) would also be the project manager. We faced several delays due to permitting and weather, but the pool was still done on time and on budget. Doug was always just a phone call or text message away if we had any questions. Even after the build, the Wet Pools team continues to check in to ensure everything is operating smoothly.

Wet Pools has installed 2 pools for me and done a great job both times. They are easy to work with and keep the client informed. I also have them maintain my pools and that has been a big plus as they can also do regular maintenance that I wouldn't normally catch.

Wet pools built my pool 3 years ago. It was a fantastic experience. They gave me the best quote and included everything I wanted. The pool was built in 5 weeks with no delays or surprises. If I ever build another pool, I will definitely be going with Wet Pools again. It's been 3 years and we have not had any issues! Wet pools has been great about coming out and answering questions and looking at something for me!

After a bad start with them, they worked hard to make ammends. Full story: They gave me an estimate where they described the work scope but they had actually forgotten to account for a big chunk of it on the cost. I applied for a loan to pay por it, gave them a check for 50% and after that they called me to inform they wouldn't do it for that price (they had missed the cost of concrete work, almost 3k), and asked me to go pick up my downpayment check.

I was pretty mad at them. I was already in debt, it would have been hard to apply for another loan and I thought I had to wait another summer to get my pool renovations done. I posted some bad reviews online, they noticed my dissapointment and called me to make ammends. Colleen and Doug worked to get some contractors to complete the scope they had missed on the quote, they offered me some disccounts to help me afford it. Now that the work is done, I am pretty happy with the results, the contractors did a nice job on the concrete and spray deck. The quality of work: 5 stars

I can't say enough about how awesome it was to work with Wet Pools. We took a really long time to decide when to sign the contract and they were extremely patient with us. No pressure sales either! They did an outstanding job on the design of the pool and it looks spectacular. We are so pleased with the outcome. The whole team was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, which stayed on track. No surprises or issues! We absolutely LOVE our pool. We highly recommend using Wet Pools.

Wet Pool is no doubt the best pool services company we have used. Recently our pool cleaner was broken and there was some pipe leaking problems. Wet Pool got it fixed within a very short time and very reasonable price. We started using their service since 2006 and they never let us down. Whatever was the issue, they always had a solution for you and did it with high quality and very timely manner. Joanne is always very responsive and keep me updated on the repair project. We trust this company fully and would like to recommend their service to our friends and neighbors.

I've had my Wet Pool for almost 15 years. The craftsmanship was fantastic. The company listens to what you want, and comes up with a unique product just for you. They use high quality sub-contractors. They stand behind everything they do. They were open to brand new automation (at the time). Their pools are well engineered to be upgradeable for years to come. Big plus? They are just nice people. Their prices are always competitive. What more can you say?

Very responsive to questions about my new build. Pool construction process went smoothly and love the final result. Any issue that came up they always addressed. The project manager (owner) was very responsive and always called or texted back immediately to questions. Enjoyed working with them for construction so much that we hired them to service pool as well. Understand City of Katy regs well.

Buyer beware. Once the pool is built they are unresponsive to any complaints about workmanship or build out issues. Their workers are messy and leave trash and used food containers all over your yard. They do not honor any warranty and do not take any responsibility for poor workmanship. Customer service is definitely nonexistent with this company.

They built my pool to (my) perfection and then maintained it perfectly for years. Now (times are tougher) they repair any issues I have promptly, efficiently, and reasonably. I am a very happy customer and I think you will be too.

Do not use this company. We are in the process of building a pool, and we are two weeks behind schedule. The owner which is the project manager has only showed up a handful of times in an 8 week period. When he does show up he shows up unannounced when we are not home. All communication has been over the phone which makes it impossible to properly address issues with construction.

He only uses subcontractors, which do not work for him so scheduling is on their (subcontractors) time. Because of the lack of involvement from the project manager/ owner our project has been delayed. I interviews several building companies prior to building, I also researched and got referrals. Do not be fooled by their BBB rating as I was. Worst company ever.

Everything went really well. There were a few little glitches along the way, but that can be expected with any pool build. They always responded to us so quickly- within minutes most of the time and very friendly and helpful. Great experience and we have a beautiful pool to show for it.

We had some valve actuators go out during a "freeze event" - one of which may have been malfunctioning prior to this anyway. I left an inquiry on the Wet Pools website, as well as a voicemail before they opened on Monday. Wet Pools called back that morning to schedule service. Rae was responsive and communicative, and happy to answer questions as I had them.

Due to the level of service calls they had (because of the freeze event), they weren't able to get out until the next day, but did show up within the service window they promised. On the day of servicing; Martin and Trey were extremely knowledgeable about the system, and helped me to understand exactly what went wrong. They got us up and running the same day so we could run the pool, and returned the next day with the replacement valve actuators to get the system back to it's previous capability. Would definitely recommend Wet Pools for servicing and repair!

We had some mineral staining in our pool that developed shortly after an earlier gunite job which Wet Pools was able to nearly eliminate. When we initially contacted Wet Pools they sent a technician out who appraised our situation and actually spent about an hour with some acid and a brush removing part of the stains. The technician thought we could remove the stains ourselves with some acid and a lot of brush work and left a Wet Pools quote for our consideration - no charge.

I did a little internet research and probably could have done the job which involved draining the pool and acid washing the gunite, but in the end I thought their quote was extremely reasonable. Wet Pools worked with my wife's schedule to complete the job. On the day of the job they drained the pool, acid washed and started refill all in well under a full day.

They were back two days later when refilling the pool was complete to adjust chemicals and provide some maintenance instructions - all for the quoted price. Pool looks great and if you don't know what to look for on the staining most would never notice.

My husband and I decided last May that we wanted to put in a pool. We knew we needed several quotes, and so we began. After several salesman from different pool builders visited with us we met with Doug with Wet Pools. What a difference from the get go. We didn't feel any pressure to over extend our budget. We started the project with Doug in May and by the end of July we were swimming in the pool.

We had heard of so many people who did not have a good experience with putting in a pool but with Wet Pools everything went very smooth and was handled professionally.
