Critical: Professionalism Used CMB for a few jobs at my home. Never again. DON' USE THEM. They used a subcontractor (carpenter) for one major project who did very poor quality work. On a different job, I got major attitude from the salesman who started yelling at me (unprovoked) while I was at work and kept my cool. Very unprofessional. Look elsewhere.

CMB rebuilt my deck off the kitchen on the second floor. I had heard of them from my neighbor who also had a deck rebuilt and was really satisfied with the work they did. They were on time and professional, and did exceptional work with good materials. There was a bee nest under my siding. I called an exterminator but it didn't help much while they were here.
I told them I was OK if they wanted to delay things until the bees were gone, but they worked through it anyway, basically swatted away bees for a day and a half, and still did an outstanding job under difficult circumstances. They went WAY above and beyond. Can't recommend them highly enough.

We have been customers of CMB for many years. We started with a new roof, siding and windows. Later, our bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and living room have all been remodeled. We have joked many times that our house should be a show house for CMB. We are happy with their professionalism and finished results. Estimated costs were not the cheapest compared to other contractors but their dependability and willingness to work with what we wanted has stood out in CMB's favor. We recommend CMB to anyone looking for good results and a smile.

CMB presents well at the beginning. They send their sales guy to convince you that they are professional. However once the job starts, throw the dice! The salesman won't be in the picture anymore. They ruined my landscaping and when asked about it told me that "those things happen" and "it's covered in the contract". Better hope you don't have a question while the job is in progress because the roofers only speak Spanish and the site manager doesn't speak it.

We hired SMB to replace the roof on our house. We chose this company because they were local and in addition to doing roofing, they also would replace the gutters, eliminating the need to hire a separate company. To start, they began work 45 minutes late. They roofers brought two tarps to protect the front of the house, however one of the tarps was worn and with holes, allowing debris to get through and make a mess.
The day after completion, we had a light rain and the roof leaked around the chimney so had to be caulked. Before the gutters were attached, my father pointed out that the wood underneath the gutters was rotted and looked like it needed to be replaced. The foreman said it was fine. You could pull pieces of the wood away with your hand it was so rotted.
Since they didn't want to replace it, my (73 yr old) dad went to home depot and cut and replaced the wood himself. When we went to pay, we showed the foreman a mailer coupon we recently received for $250 off the cost of the job. He didn't want to accept it, citing an expiration date. The date on the coupon he was referring to was not an expiration date, but a date from years ago where they had received some sort of award. After haggling, the project manager reluctantly honored the coupon. CMB general contractors needs to tighten up. We would not use them again.

They cane to my home to give me and estimate on some work i needed on my house. They told my 89 year old father that they would come back in a few days with the price. They never came back nor did they call. I had to contact them weeks later to find out what happened. Since they don't answer there phone which frankly i feel is suspicious i left them a message.
The lady returned the call with a slight attitude and left a message stating that they don't want the repair and good ridden. Why couldn't they have picked up the phone and called and told me that. If there work is similar to there customer service i would stay far away.
