This used to be a great company, but not any more. Now, all they care about is charging exorbitant rates while providing minimal service. Their lead technician can no longer be bothered to change a washer to fix a leaky faucet. Instead, he wants you to replace the whole vanity unit! They charge $400 in labor (for less than an hour's work) to install a $50 garbage disposal, and that doesn't include the $75 trip charge.
Do yourselves a favor and avoid this company. Their new specialty is price gouging. ~~~~ The head of this company, Mr. Kevin Conway, outright lies. I have been a customer of their company for over 30 years. Never has there been any "altercation" or even a "dispute" about their bills until the last visit. Contrary to what Mr. Conway states, I was never quoted a price for installation of the garbage disposal over the phone.
I received the sticker shock price of $452 to install a $50 garbage disposal when their technician arrived at my house. I simply reacted by saying "wow, that's price gouging". The technician informed me that he could leave but I would still owe the $75 trip charge, and there would be another $75 trip charge if I bought my own unit and he came back to install it on a time and materials basis.
After installation of the unit, the disposal didn't work, because the line was clogged. I asked the technician to snake it, but he refused. I unclogged the line using a bottle of "Lye" which I had in my house. I made no comments about their bill when paying them. In hind sight, I may have not even needed a new disposal. The problem may have just been the clogged line.
A few days later, I called to have them come out to snake a toilet in my house. Mr. Conway told me that I had an outstanding bill for the snaking that was done in the previous visit (the same snaking that never took place!) and they could no longer serve me. I unclogged the toilet myself using a plunger. Thanks for saving me another $250 down the drain, Kevin.
It's sad to see a decent company has become such unscrupulous shysters. I hope they find their way back from the dark to the light. In the meantime, AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.

SERIOUSLY JUST FIND ANOTHER COMPANY! This place gladly took my money of $133 for just coming out, I was not informed of this charge beforehand. The guy came to my house September 10th, gave a rough estimate of the price of the work but told me his boss would send me an estimate the following week. I called September 16th just as a check in because I understand things are still crazy because of covid or back ups whatever.
I STILL TO THIS DAY HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN ESTIMATE. I called for the last time on October 1st. I refuse to have to chase someone down to do work for me but this is just basically a scam charge people $133 and then never schedule anything to be done? Yeah you can make a living off that.

Kevin and the technicians at Associated Plumbing are great. The technician showed up on time, was courteous, got the job done quickly, and took the time to clean up the work area before leaving. I will use Associated again and recommend them to anyone looking for a good plumbing service. Service: Drain cleaning

We have used them twice, and both times was an excellent experience. They got us in quickly and worked with us on scheduling. The plumber who helped us both times was Mark and he did excellent work both times. He explained things well and answered our questions, was friendly and efficient. We are very satisfied with both customer service and the plumber and would recommend using Associated Plumbing.

I recently had the opportunity to contact Associated Plumbing regarding a leak that no one could find. Kevin, the owner of Associated called me and said what I should look for, and there it was, An AC unit was draining into the wall and it came out in the bath. Not plumbing but Kevin said what i was describing was something he had encountered before. So, long story short, Associated found the problem, never had to come out and offered the help as a good neighbor. THANKS! I will definitely refer you to many many of my friends and business I use in Ypsilanti as well! Pat Lubomski Ypsilanti Twp

Jim arrived early, and knew exactly what needed to be done. He was pleasant and worked quickly. He needed to go get a part for my shower and he did that off the clock. He explained all the parts and what they do. Made an appointment to him to come back next week (Building water needs to be turned off). I'm hoping it's the same gentleman. Very nice, very knowledgeable. Price seems reasonable, but I am no expert in average prices. I needed it fixed, he fixed it! Thank you!

This week, we had a serious plumbing problem and called Sinks to Sewers. They were busy and unsure that they could help. So they recommended Associated Plumbing and Sewerage, Ann Arbor (663 0055). My husband was able to talk with the owner and although busy also, he dispatched Mark, a master plumber. Mark was a very pleasant man and solved the problem in about 90 minutes. The bill was lower than we expected. I highly recommend these guys.

I called Associated Plumbing after our regular plumber could not snake past 70 feet in our sewer line. Per the recommendation of our plumber I called Associated and spoke with Kevin and asked about having a camera scope the line to determine the exact nature of the problem. Unlike other plumbers I called, he did not try to upsell me on any additional services.
He quoted me a price for the camera work only. He also told me they host the video of the scope so that "you can get bids for the work you may need." I told Kevin I wanted to hire him. He and Phil came the next morning. After determining I had a lot of tree roots in the vitrified clay pipe, including a mass at 70 feet that was so overgrown even the camera could not get through, he said they could hydro jet the roots.
He quoted me a price and I said "let's do it." He and Phil got to work and worked and worked and worked and worked. They worked on the problem roots for more than three hours but successfully removed all the root obstructions. And he did not charge me one penny more than the original quote. All in all we got our line cleaned for just under 1000.00. Kevin and Phil also did a fantastic job cleaning up. I highly recommend Associated Plumbing and will be calling them again in about 2 years to have our line scoped, just to check on the root situation.

I just moved into a new place and the garbage disposal wasn't working. I called around to a couple places and the soonest anyone could send someone was two weeks. I happened to be driving behind an Associated Plumbing truck and saw their number on the back so I gave them a call. They had someone over the same day (two hours after I called)! Excellent service and they fixed my garbage disposal in about 35 minutes! I highly recommend them.
