Nelson Brothers was founded by two brothers, Anton and Nels. Nelson, Danish immigrants. Settling originally in Iowa, both brothers installed irrigation lines for the farming industry. The promise of higher pay working in the factories soon lured them to Detroit, Mi. Unhappy with factory life, both brothers began working in the evenings and on weekends installing sewer lines as freelance contractors. Then in 1925 they left the factory forever to pursue their dream of self-employment and Nelson Bros. was born.

I'm always impressed with the level of professionalism and quality that Nelson Bros. Sewer and Plumbing deliver. The technician Cain clearly explained the problem and gave me some options how to repair toilet. He was professional and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with results and so happy problem was fixed. Definitely I would consider Nelson Bros for future repairs and projects.

I've been using Nelson Plumbing for many years now, and I've always gotten excellent service! I have referred them to family and friends and they agree on the quality of service provided as well. In this situation, they fixed up a basement bathroom that had corroded pipes in the sink and a toilet from 1960 that was leaking. The company is very professional, customer-centric, and responsive.

The entire staff that worked at our house is very professional and courteous. They were upfront with the cost and repairs needed to our sewer system and Kept us updated on a daily basis. We have an older home from the late 1930's and the entire sewer system needed to be replaced. Nelson Brothers sewer and plumbing worked nonstop on a daily basis to get this job done and get our house functional. My wife and I are very pleased with their work and we highly recommend them. Great response time after initial request for quote and everyone was very polite and professional throughout the whole process. The tech that changed my garbage disposal was on time, followed all COVID safety protocols, was very nice and he had paper covers on his shoes for entering my house. He was very efficient and also patient with all my questions. Great business and now my new "go-to" for all my plumbing needs.

My mom's basement had water leakage from recent rainstorms. We were told she needed her basement waterproofed and gutter guards during two separate appointments. I decided to contact Nelson Brothers yesterday. Ed came out today. He checked the sewer and water lines. They were clogged causing water to seep into the basement. He very efficiently and professionally cleaned them. No more water in the basement! We are so grateful we thought of Nelson Brothers. Thank you so much, Ed!

Excellent and professional plumbing. They have the tools, supplies and expertise to repair or replace any problem you have. A very established company. I requested the same plumber as I had the last time and he was able to come out and complete the job. He likes my dog too! We had a hole in the water hose that connects to the fridge. It was nasty leak. We called Nelson Brothers at 8 am first thing and they had a guy here by 10:30. He was super professional and worked out a great solution to fix the problem. It was done quickly and with expert care. Fantastic job and experience all around! There's a reason why Nelson Brothers is our go to shop for all things plumbing!

We've been using Nelson Brother's Plumbing for a few years now, and have been happy with their services. I have them come in yearly to a maintenance visit just to make sure our pipes are running clear. They're usually in and out in about an hour. I would definitely recommend. Service: Drain unblocking
