I have had all the windows and doors replaced by Olde Towne Windows, starting in 2003 and continuing through 2005, I think. This included a sliding glass door and glass block in a bathroom window. The products are nice and the price was reasonable. I recommended them for years but then when I had a issue, problems with service started. We saw that one of the exterior doors needed realigning and instead of just sending out a repair person, they sent out a person to assess the problem first, then I had to call again to get the repair done. Repair was completed but having to schedule multiple appointments to get a repair done is pretty hinky.
I have now been trying to get my sliding glass door repaired/replaced for over 1 year! I started calling for a repair in April of 2020. They couldn't schedule anyone out until May. Then after multiple cancellations someone came out in June (the assessor) and when the repair guys finally came out (in August!) after 2 cancellations, they couldn't fix the door.
They needed someone else to come out and look at it. Someone (Bert) finally came out after constant hounding in October and while he tried to fix it, he was alone and needed help. Three guys came out to repair, once again after constant phone calls, in Mid-November and informed me that they could not fix the door and that it needed to be replaced.
It is now June 24, 2021, I have been trying to get in contact with them for months! I even called the BBB and they never got any responses from Olde Towne either. I did get the nice secretary (Tammy) on the phone two weeks ago and she said she would have Chuck call me, but she has been saying that since last year! Once again, I'm stuck calling and calling, leaving messages with no hope of a call back.
Due to COVID hitting, I have tried to be very, very, patient and understanding but enough is enough! Don't trust these people folks! They do not honor their work and do not reward your loyalty or recommendations. They are cowardly in dealing with customer service issues, repairs, and anything with a lifetime warranty associated with it! I am LIVID!
