Tony was very personable face to face, but lacked on the contact. We had estimate done months ago and never received any input. Called and was told the estimate was never drafted. Emailed a number of times with no response regarding our estimate. We are still waiting on another estimate that was to be drafted for us, but again no results.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Poor experience similar to other reviews. The sales rep is not a good front-facing person for the business. Showed up, promised a quote and I never heard back. I would not hire or so business with this company.

My experience with RC Norman surpassed all others within the trade industry. They were professional, their work product is fantastic and best of all they are timely and responsive to calls/emails. We're fortunate to have this resource in our in our community.

Good work. Disappointed in time quoted to complete and actual completion. First problem with finished product and I'm told it's not covered under 10 year warranty.

My husband and I have used RC Norman twice and have been very happy with both projects. We chose RC Norman over other contractors even though their quote was higher because they are a fully insured company with a long list of satisfied (and repeat) customers. The projects that we have had them do were substantial and we were willing to pay more for high quality work and the confidence that they would be done right.

The first project was in 2017 and was the removal of our fireplace and installation of a sliding door. They did such a great job both inside and out that guests can not tell where we used to have a fireplace. (Picture is of the completed project. The view is a lot prettier than staring at a fireplace we did not use.) The second project was finished this summer 2019 and was a complete remodel of our master bathroom and shower.

We bought handmade Andalusia style tiles from Spain for this project and RC Norman handled them with care. Additionally, we doubled the size of our shower, had a window put in overlooking our backyard, foldable mirrors installed, new lighting, and new flooring. It was a multi-week project, but well worth it. (Pictures are of completed project minus new paint using a fish-eye camera lens.) I appreciate that they always answer my calls quickly, provide updates, and never made me seem like a bother (even if I called them several times in a week).

If a part of the project was going to run over the originally agreed upon amount they would explain why and what options we had. They do not take credit cards, cash or check only. They also do not include painting in their quotes. We will use them again for any other future projects! Thanks Kermit, Cheryl, Jim, and everyone at RC Norman!

Tom from RC Norman came out to my house on July 31. He smelled up my entire house with a smoker's smell that lasted for hours. To make matters worse, it is now September 20, and I'm still waiting on my original quote for the job. I called the office to ask about the quote a 3 weeks ago, and Tom said he needed more time. At this point, I'm not waiting any longer for a quote. I'll just do business with someone who actually wants my business. Best advice, go with another company.

The team at R.C. Norman was great to work with on our bathroom remodel and kitchen flooring projects. Jim Nighman who is the sales representative we worked with was very insightful on helping my wife and I choose a design that worked very well with our older home. Cheryl and Kermit (owners) were also very helpful in making sure our projects met or exceeded our expectations.

And last but not least, the installation team of Dave, Steve, Jay, and Tony (sorry if I left anyone out) took their time and paid great attention to detail in finishing our projects like it was their own home. We plan on using them on our next project doing a basement finish. No hesitation here in referring anyone to R.C. Norman!

My landlord insists on using rc norman, but they have been nothing but an inconvenience. They take up my entire driveway (which I pay for) for entire days, leaving me to park in the street which is ridiculous and unacceptable. I am a father and shouldn't have to make my child walk through the snow to come in the house, and I shouldn't have to bring groceries from the street.

They leave messes everywhere every time they do anything, and have literally damaged things in my home. To tell you to go with literally any other company is an understatement. They were rude to my wife while i was gone, I am genuinely angry I can't rate them 0 stars.

My husband and I have had them working on our home for a while now, as our landlord insists, and every single time they do something here an issue pops up. When they did our windows, they left a complete mess in the house, insetead of putting our curtains back up they left them all over the floor. I found an object of mine broken and they left empty boxes all around outside that my husband had to take to a dumpster. Basically, they are careless, messy and never leave the house the way it was when they got here.

They drag out jobs as long as they possibly can. They have taken three days, so far, to install 12 doors. They are constantly taking up the entire drive way, we have a child and the fact that he has to walk through the snow to get into the house is unacceptable. I asked them if they could move their truck once so my husband could pull into our garage, that we pay to use, and he was rude and told me he can just park in the street. They are the most inconvenient, rude company and people and I will NEVER recommend that anyone use them.

Very professional remodeling company in the Akron area. They gave me a reasonable quote, answered all of my questions, and made a very good impression on me and my husband. I used them last spring to remodel a small spare bathroom in my home. It came out better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend this company for anyone in the Stow OH area looking for a reputable bathroom remodeler.
