Weaver commercial and home improvement has done a few projects for us. We had them finish our basement about a year ago and the crew was very professional, responsive and they did great work. Just recently we called Scot and Tina to do some remodeling in our Kitchen. Another awesome experience and exquisite work. I am especially impressed with Stanley. He is the best detail and finish employee that I have experienced with Scots crew. Anytime we have another remolding project we will be sure to call Scot and Tina.

Scott Weaver is a very solid owner/operator and setting up good work to keep more business coming. And the Staff is very helpful with the application process, I hated I had to leave from family matters but I'm in talks with "Leave It To Weaver" Construction and hopefully I get another shot with an awesome business. -Thanks for the experience either way! -Johnathon C. I had a great experience with Scot and his team. There are different guys, each with their own expertise but all having knowledge in any general contracting work. Everyone loved on the dogs and were really laid back and friendly. Anytime there was a question or concern dialog was open and candid. Additionaly each employee was just down the Earth and showed me how processes worked and a little more insight to construction in general.
We had a full bathroom and laundry room combo put in the basement of an older home. Exterior walls were put up along two sides of the house so that I can set up a living room and hobby space. I would recommend Weaver to any friends or family.

There is so much more to the story, but we will start here. On July 25 2020, Scot was told about the leak via text (with photos). I have most his exchanges with me via text in an effort to capture his word. He sent over a person who over applied silicone caulk to the roof, around the chimney and J channel siding. The ceiling continues to leak, so again I texted Scot.
On Saturday August 1st 2020, I was told by Scot, "I just texted the roofing company that did the job" "Roofer said he'll be out there in the next couple hours." Three hours later, two males arrived; again their "solution" was to add even more caulk to the already overly caulked area; making the mess on my roof even worse and still not providing a fix to the leaking problem.
I then was left with no choice, but to get on the roof and see for myself. While on the roof, I pointed out to the "roofer" that the shingles on the peak are upside down and the metal-water-flashing around the chimney was cut too short during installation. I asked the two guys the name of the roofing company they work for and they said they didn't know.
I eventually asked them again the name of their roofing company and they told me they work for Scot Weaver and not a roofing company. I then tried to call and text Scot several times about the issues and got no response. Prior to the alleged "roofers" leaving, they tore off a section of shingle to color match my roof. The two guys returned with a bundle of shingles and got on the roof, again.
I then went back up on the roof to see that they are about to replace the shingles with a very different color shingle than what is currently on my roof. I tell the guys to stop and call or text Scot. After no response from Scot, they leave and said they would be back Monday (Aug 3rd 2020). I continue to call and text Scot several times; approximately over 140 text messages.
Yet I still have not received a response. In conclusion, the he roof still leaks, the drywall will need to be repaired or replaced due to the water damage, my glass door still has nail scratches embedded in it and these "cosmetic" pillars are still 1/4 inch too short. In previous correspondences with Scot, when questioned about the delay in work and when the approximate completion would be he would give multiple reasons like the the weather, the client (me), and COVID-19 the list goes on and on.
But the facts remain, Scot has not completed the project professionally, timely and correctly. I do not want others to fall victim to he and his company's careless and downright improper, unsafe construction. I am bothered by the fact that he has will say "it's funny" the client (me) doesn't recall certain aspects of our exchanges; on the contrary, I recall everything that was discussed and have text/ picture evidence of what has been discussed.
There is nothing "funny" about this situation- this is serious and concerning that Scot Weaver is somehow able to take on new construction projects, fool future clients with his promised services yet cannot even properly and correctly manage the projects he currently has in progress.

We just had our atrium staircase updated/upgraded by Leave It To Weaver. The project turned out great! There were two different carpenters doing the construction, and they both were very competent and professional. They also did a great job minimizing the mess and cleaning up each day. Scot Weaver came by daily to make sure everything was going good with the project and on schedule.
He was also willing to adjust his estimate to allow me to do my own painting and staining. This was our second time using Leave It To Weaver - they extended our roof to cover the existing deck. We will definitely consider them again for any future projects.

Added extension on my garage. Weaver crew was very diligent and professional, especially the lead carpenter. Job required re-location of electric service base which resulted in some confusion between foundation concrete sub contractor, Electrical sub contractor, and Ameren about who did which part. Not Weavers fault, coordinating with 3 separate companies on one issue took some time.
Overall very satisfied with result, plus added new roof to entire house during this project at a very good price. Scott was very responsive, work quality is very good. Very Satisfied customer.

Beware! This husband wife team will totally rip you off. They are shady and will breach a contract. I contracted and paid them to to fix various things and refinish stairs in an Atrium ranch. Well. They did a have ass job and when questioned about when they would finish the work.crickets. Will not return calls even while maintaining a polite nature.

Scot Weaver and his crew did a beautiful job on our roof. I was shocked at how professional and dedicated Scot and his crew was to replacing my roof. Honestly, I thought the job would take 2-3 days, but the foreman arrived early in the morning assessing the area, and they worked until the evening replacing a 2,500 sq. ft. roof with architectural shingles.
I highly recommend Leave It To Weaver, and hope to use their service for other future constructions needs in the future. Lastly, Scot materials and cost was much cheaper, and he didn't skimp on the job. Thank You, Leave It To Weaver, for a beautiful job!
