Stoneyard

I just visited The Stoneyard today as I was looking for some bluestone steps. I was very impressed by the service, quality of products and overall friendly staff. They can do so much more than basic stone. This stuff is really special

Based on the photos on their website I selected stone veneer to be used for the sides of my house and my mason bought the stone I selected. I chose square and rec for a look that would match the shingles on my house. The stones are not square and rec- they're random shapes vaguely square or rectangular but not straight lines and right angles.

Their website does say, if you click on a particular photo, "Stones in photos have been field-trimmed." But there are no photos of what the stones look like untrimmed, and no explanation of exactly what that means. My walls do look okay but it's not what I expected and I believe I was misled. Why didn't they put photos of untrimmed stones on their website so customers can see what the actual stones would look like?

I keep coming back for all my hardscaping materials. Good stone yard.

I wish i have opportunity to give them 10 stars, one of the best places in Mass to buy material from. Very professional, quickly responses on calls, very fast on paper work and dispatch.

Second time using Stoneyard for one of our major projects. Jim was great to work, and the delivery driver was really nice. They left the stone exactly where I wanted it, which was especially important since the stones on the pallets are several hundred pounds each. Great job all around.

Jim, the sales guy, was great when we bought our stone for our new fireplace. After the job was complete, our installer showed us we had 2 full, unopened boxes left over and informed us one of the boxes was very damaged upon arrival. I sure wished he informed us of the damaged product immediately. Anyway, project complete, I contacted David, the manager at Stoneyard, and explained this all to him and he said there was nothing he could do.

No returns on the unopened boxes of stone, no credit on the damaged product NOTHING! I would have been fine with a restocking fee but he said no.nothing. NOTHING HE COULD DO. Well, that totally sucks. The stone is a beautiful mix of light to mid toned grays and I'm sure he could sell it with a similar batch. NOTHING HE COULD DO = suck customer satisfaction.

Stoneyard is amazing to work with. Thank you Ashlee for being so fast. Communication was excellent. Originally, I thought having 2 pallets of stone delivered to my house would be challenging, but apparently there's machines for that. It's even going to be left in the back of my driveway so we can still park. Awesome.

By far the greatest selection of high-quality stone I have ever seen. The service level is high. Definitely a great choice. I will return any time I need stone products.
