Frontier Deck Builders took the time to understand our needs in replacing our 27 year old deck with a new structure. They gave me options to choose from a variety of materials and sizes in order to select the perfect deck to fit our needs and our budget. We finally decided on a smaller composite deck and we couldn't be happier with the results. Kudos to Andy and Dave for making this experience a great one!

Our experience with Frontier Deck Builders was nothing short of amazing. Andy and his team were professional and helpful, from start to finish. They were quick to respond any time we needed something and so, so patient in the planning and quoting phase. Once under way, the crews were barely noticed around the house and were very conscientious of our yard and home. The finished product is just phenomenal - so much nicer than we ever imagined. Could not be happier.

From the first day these guys showed up I could tell they are true professionals; and even before that. Andy provided a detailed drawing of what the layout looks like, followed up by samples of the various styles and materials available. Throughout the entire process, Andy was very prompt in answering my questions, and addressing my concerns. In just a few days I watched a pile of wood evolve into a work of art.

Their workmanship is truly first class. They built a very nice and sturdy deck as expected, but their attention to detail is what I think is so impressive. As a guy who is picky about things looking right, their work was off the charts. My herringbone patterned deck look so nice! The wood is precisely cut, and perfectly aligned, which makes for a nice clean look. If you ever need to build a Deck, call Frontier Deck Builders!

Had our old deck rebuilt and a second new on added on the ground level. Andy and his team Mike, Dave and Gary were fantastic and very detailed oriented. Ou new decks look great. Highly recommend them.

Andy coordinated a hardscape upgrade and installed a new deck. He was great to work with throughout the process - helped us to refine the plans and select the materials, and then managed the job from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with the final result. Workers started each day first thing in the morning and were very professional at all times. They were very accommodating to our various requests. Any issues were promptly resolved. They obviously care about the complete satisfaction of their customers. The craftsmanship was top notch and finished product was even better then we imagined. These guys were fantastic. Frontier Deck builders built us a brand new deck and patio. Our previous decking situation was kind of a mess due to a leaking flat roof beneath some of it, and Andrew helped us find a solution that worked for us. The new deck and patio are absolutely gorgeous, and get constant use. Nothing more satisfying than showing it off to people. Frontier Deck Builders did a beautiful job on our new deck and stayed on budget. Their expertise and attention to detail was superb. We we couldnt be happier with the end product. I highly reccomend them and will use them again.

Extremely satisfied customer! Had a 19-year old, 2-story, 500+sq ft deck, homemade by previous homeowner, poorly done and rotting (stairs, stringers, and 6x6 posts rotting/cracked through). Completed the same 3 estimates with 4 separate companies (1 each: pure pressure-treated lumber, 50/50 PT lumber and composite, pure composite). Andy Merz, leader of Frontier Deck, did the estimates personally, professionally, and promptly, and suggested intelligent & efficient ideas throughout the estimate process.

His communication was easily understand, promptly answering all of our questions, and accurate, including detailed sketches of the proposals and itemized breakdowns to help us further adjust cost to keep within our budget. Ultimately of the 12 estimates we did, Frontier's 50/50 PT lumber and composite deck was by far the most reasonable "bang for our buck". Frontier did an excellent job tearing down and disposing of our unsafe old deck, identifying structural damage to my home in the process (caused by the previous homeowner's improper fastening to the rim joist of my house). Mr. Merz immediately notified us of the structural damage, gave us a reasonable cost estimate to repair it, and promptly repaired at at the estimated price once we gave permission.

All work was done neatly with minimal impact to our property, and the finished deck came out beautiful & strong, and should give us another 25+ years. As an unexpected side benefit, Mr Merz's simple design of the understructure and staircase vastly improved our scenic back yard view from the convoluted & bulky structure of the old deck. With Mr. Merz's help, we chose to use a composite decking and handrail, with PT lumber structure and railing balusters, which saved us several thousand dollars over a vinyl handrail system while still minimizing future maintenance. Frontier's 2-man work crew was on-time, efficient, knowledgeable, very polite and unobtrusive, allowing us to go about our regular family routine with very little disruption during the entire project. Have recommended Frontier to close friends and family, would definitely hire Frontier again!
