We reached out to ask for examples of the kind of work we are looking for and they responded by setting up an appointment to come by our home. We rearranged our day to accommodate and then they blew us off without notice. They were appallingly rude in all email and text correspondence and, though they advertise in the Adirondack Life, have decided that work in Lake Placid/Saranac Lake is "too far from home base." While the overall lack of basic respect and integrity is shocking, I am grateful to have seen the true colors of The McKernon Group prior to hiring. I will happily share more about my experience with anyone who is considering hiring this company.
