RHD Plumbing

I contacted RHD Plumbing for a clogged pipe in our kitchen, after finding them on Google. After gathering other estimates, we chose to RHD Plumbing based on their price and that they seemed knowledgeable and friendly over the phone. Shaun took the time to thoroughly discuss our situation with me; finding out what the problems were that we were experiencing, what may be the cause, and creating and explaining a plan of attack well before having a technician come out to our home.

The day of the service call, Dan was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem, recognizing what needed to be done, and quite frankly, had our best interests in mind as to what should be done, instead of what "could be done." I strongly feel that anyone else in that situation could have easily recommended the most expensive solution as the "only solution, " but instead we received the fairest and most honest assessment from our technician.

Even though this is my first experience with RHD Plumbing, I highly recommend this company because the people who work there seem to care about the work they do and the reputation they have locally. I found them to be fair, honest, knowledgeable and capable of not only being able to do their job, but also wanting to put enough care into a job in a way that would matter a great deal to any homeowner. I will not hesitate to contact them in the future again, should the need arise. Thanks again Shaun and Dan.

I set up my walk-through with Kari for 4/21. Brian came out to take all the measurements and said we'd have our quote in a few days. Seven days went by without any communication from the company and I sent an email to Kali on April 28th, asking when we'd get the quote. She replied, stating she'd have it back from the contractor tomorrow. It has been a month and I never heard from them again. This company is definitely NOT reliable, honest or professional and I would NOT recommend them to anyone I know.

RHD Plumbing worked in conjunction with KG Stevens during our countertop installation. Both companies were very professional and the finished project was exceptional. Highly recommend both companies.

Extremely fast and responsive service. Called at 7:30 and there was a plumber here around 8:00. Replaced my water heater that afternoon. A little pricey, but worth it for the exceptionally good customer service. Service: Water heater installation

Hooked up a sink that came with our new countertops. The pipes did not match our old ones. Great job rerouting. Very friendly and very neat.

I had a sump pump that rattled and shook every time it went off when it rain. I was secure in the knowledge that it was working because it kept me up all night. Now with my new quiet sump pump and the battery backup system I don't even hear it.

We first met RHD plumbing when we did a major kitchen and bathroom renovation. They soon became our "go to people": good advice, good products, timely, fairly priced, very responsive via email and/or phone. Even small things get the same attention to detail. When our quiet close easy clean toilet seat needed to be replaced, they searched and searched to find a replacement.

The model that I had was no longer available and the new model required a change of hardware. I have severe arthritis and no tools or skills. They totally understood. RHD was terrific and sent a service person to my home to install it the very next day.

Representative was very cordial and accommodating. Appointment was set at a time convenient to us and plumber arrived on time. He assessed and fixed the problem with the leaky garbage disposal, cleaned up, asked if there was anything else (no), presented the invoice, which we happily paid. No more leaks under the sink in the months since the repair. What more could you ask for? They lived up to their name Reliable Honest Dependable.

Highly recommend RHD Plumbing. They installed an RO system (Reverse Osmosis) and a heat pump on our water heater. Very professional, quality work and timely communication with quotes and appointments. The plumber, Dan, took the time to explain how it works when finished installing. They also did all the work in our new home, very pleased.

We've used RHD for multiple projects at our house, both big and small (anything from a full bathroom addition to a dishwasher install). They are able to schedule quickly and always show up promptly. Their employees are always polite and helpful with any questions we have. Will always use RHD for our plumbing needs!

Excellent service and job, but the rest of the experience left much to be desired. Sent a invoice after more than a month with a "PAST DUE" and labor charges for 3.5 hours of work, which was actually 1 hour of work. They corrected it to 1.5 hours, but the whole experience with the charges disappointed after nice work the team actually did.

Okay, quick update on the plumbing situation. We were contacted by RHD plumbing recently, apparently the company changed ownership or management since we had our work done. The manager asked if they could come out to see if they could remedy the problems we had with our work. A tech came out and assessed the install on our hand sink, and agreed that it should have had some blocking behind before mounting.

They offered to remove, install blocking, repair drywall and reinstall the sink at no charge. The work was scheduled at a time that was convenient for us (we could not have the restroom closed over the weekend) and completed as promised. I had some difficulty deciding what to change the rating to. Do I average the old rating and the new one? That really didn't seem fair to the new management.

In the end, I'm as impressed with the service we've received as I was disappointed with the initial process, so I've updated our rating to a 5. I appreciate the management at RHD reaching out and remedying the issues we had with the initial install, over two years after we had our work done. ___ For posterity and explanation, I'm leaving our original review below. ___ We had RDH plumbing do the build out on our cafe on Williamson St. and struggled to keep them to their original timeline.

The work seemed to start and stop rapidly, with the plumbers leaving projects incomplete for days and sometimes weeks on end. Communication with the office and plumbing staff is difficult - I had the experience for leaving multiple messages with the office staff over a number of days without a returned call. Since the work was completes we've had a few problems with the plumbing, such as our open site drying up and letting sewer gas into the building, as well as the bathroom sink pulling away from the wall.

We chose RHD plumbing based on their reasonable estimate and timeline. Unfortunately they only kept to the cost estimate, and delays in plumbing finish work as well as poor quality of work left us very disappointed. ----- UPDATED Jan 2019: Hi RHD- Thanks for replying to my review. It's unfortunate that with the purchase of the business you've also acquired the past problems and reviews.

I'll post a shot of our lavatory hand sink - installed by RHD plumbing about 30 months ago and is practically falling off the wall. If you're sincerely interested in earning back our business, remedying this issue would be a great place to start.

This company is great! The employees seem very happy working for the new owners and it shows in their work. The plumbers that worked on my home were timely and informative. The people on the phone were professional and courteous. Very happy with my new bathroom fixtures and will definitely be recommending this company to our friends and family for their plumbing needs.

Trying to overcharge at $300 an hr to run new gas line 6ft and put two Hoses under new kitchen sink to connect. Still trying to negotiate final price but Business Owner is unwilling to budge. Original quote was almost $1,900 through our contractor but that was because more work was going to be done by the plumber. However my husband and I ended up doing everything except connecting new sink and running new gas line from its old spot to the new spot 6ft away. Very disappointed with service and hoping Business Owner will refine the bill to be for the services that were actually done and not what was discussed originally.
