We purchased a furnace and air conditioning unit from this company through Costco, so we thought it would be a good company to deal with. My previously warm in winter master bedroom now requires a separate heater, and I still have to use the loud portable air conditioner in my Master which is the reason I purchased central air, so I wouldn't need that thing. Brennan doesn't have a solution for this other than, Yea, that happens sometimes. WHAT?!

Why didn't you install a furnace and air conditioning system that would work in our home? Thank you for responding. please let me know who I should contact. I would very much like to discuss.

I've been communicating with them for 9 months trying to get central air conditioning through Costco. If I don't email and call them multiple times, all communication comes to a stop. I'm even waiting for a callback now for the past two months of how they will get the system to fit. My pregnant wife was mad. I've gone with another company, All Climate, and got central air conditioning in under 2 months now, and never needed to call or email multiple times. My wife and I are happy and cool now. I know others had good experiences with Brennan, but I hope they can do better!

Had a mini split installed on 4/1. Installers hands down great workers and people! Wife even made them lunch. They were a pleasure and professional and clean. After not getting an invoice for a month I followed up with the company to get a status. I had this project financed and the bank got their invoice and submitted payment. During my call with the office I let them know that I still didn't have the mechanical permit and the inspection had yet to be completed. Additionally since working with the team on their proposal and the contract I have been asking to get a service contract set up to stay in compliance with the warranty.

Still nothing. Yesterday I leaned that the finance short paid them by $90. I was called and told I needed to pay now and what CC would I like to use. I said oh thanks for calling could you please tell me the status for the mechanical permit/inspection as no permit was sent with the package and also let me know about service and a service contract.

No information was made. An email was sent because I do not want to pay the $90 until the project is completed and closed out with the final inspection. Updates will be done as this project gets completed and the company gets their final $90. Project finished and closed out I will happily pay. Overall other than installation not a good experience and will be reaching out to Costco!

Forget customer service after they get your signature and you're down payment. What they don't tell you upon signing is that YOU ARE responsible for scheduling both the electrical and mechanical inspections. They sent the lone installer out in blinding rain and 35 mph wind gusts where he had to climb up a ladder 30 feet. They DEMAND payment BEFORE the inspections are completed. They are patheticely slow to respond, the office contact is snotty, and follow up is non existent.

The Brennan Heating and AC team was composed of 4 workers: Installer, HVAC technician, electrician, and a helper. They took out the 30 years old electric air handler and heat pump and installed a new Lennox system. One challenge they had was to connect the existing duct work to the new system. They struggled but persevered. I have to commend the installer for how he handled the frustrating task of connecting the unit.

The electrician ensured we were up to code by installing an outlet accessible to the heat pump. The technician informed me that the hole through the foundation for the pipes from the heat pump to the air handler was not large enough to accommodate foam insulation. But it wasn't a significant heat loss. The helper was attentive to the other's needs.

Standing by and stepping in to assist when needed. They worked as a coordinated team which was satisfying to watch. They cleaned up the debris and scraps and took the old dirty system away. Scheduled in April is an air duct cleaning. The system is quiet and heating well. The COSTCO cash card coming in a couple weeks is a plus.

Costco sent me to this business. I really wanted to like them, but my experience with them was disappointing. They repaired our furnace when it broke back in November, 2021, for $486 (including tax). So far so good. Then the furnace broke again in February. It turns out that a previous company had replaced a part with the wrong one(!), and then Brennan's tech replaced that wrong part with. the same wrong part.

So it worked for three months, and then it died. I credit the tech for his honesty, by the way; I was impressed with how he handled the situation. At this point, it's bothersome (we were without heat from Monday -> Friday afternoon in February, and yes, it got pretty cold), but mistakes happen, and I don't blame them for that. What I do blame them for: 1) Not once picking up the phone when I call them.

I've had to leave voicemail and have my call returned hours later or the next day, and that's assuming it's returned at all. 2) Their service manager said they would make the issue right for us by waiving the service charge on the second call (which they did--credit to them there) and discounting the second part (which it doesn't look like they did, because the price they gave us for the part was the same part price the tech initially quoted, before we started talking about a discount).

They charged us $950 (including tax) for the second visit. So in total, we've paid over $1,400. 3) When I called them to ask about this (knowing that the price might have been an honest mistake, or there might be a reason behind the price that they could explain to me), my voicemail went unreturned, as did my e-mail to their billing e-mail address.

I gave it a few weeks before writing this review. At this point, I have to assume that they have no interest in explaining, and it just feels like they're taking advantage. I gave them two stars because I do have heat again (hopefully for longer this time). But I would not recommend dealing with this business.

I had Brennan install a furnace and air conditioning for me a couple weeks ago- and through the whole process I've been impressed with the friendliness, professionalism and honesty of everyone I've interacted with. Brad and Evan were the head of a great team on site, and did an incredibly clean install job, even when I asked them to do some modifications to how the existing system was oriented- instead of any questions, i came out a half hour later to find that my "can we do." had been done.

They very obviously care about their work, were great about educating me through the process when i piped up with questions, and never let me feel like i was in their way, despite my barrage of questions, and the fact that I was constantly in their way learning. In addition, Aharon was a great resource both in recommending the system as well as in final configuration- his knowledge and willingness to dig in to the particulars of my setup to make sure i was happy with how everything worked was very welcome.

Everyone who I've worked with (Brad, Evan, Aharon, Steven, Shelly & Chiquita, as well as the speedy and professional electrical and compressor crews who's names i unfortunately don't recall!) have made a very expensive week much more easy to deal with, and I'm thankful I feel that i can trust everyone for my future service needs after having worked with so many people who seem to like their job, and the company they work for. The consistently high bar of people I've talked to was really good to see and put me at ease with the process and the expense.

Raymond Jones did an excellent job installing our Heat Pump. Working under trying conditions including a shallow crawl space and rain at times during the outside work Raymond kept our house clean while performing a very professional installation. If you have work done by Brennan I would highly recommend Raymond Jones. Definitely a 5-Star rating for Raymond.

Lennox Furnace/ac installed Jan 2019 for cost of $13,500 Been 2.5 weeks since first service request January 19, 2022. Service showed up twice to repair, and still is not fixed. It works for anywhere 2 days to 7 days then I get the error code 228 pressure switch failure. This switch has been replaced, all venting pipes checked, I was told that maybe the drain box may need to be replaced.

When I get this error code the heat is shut down and now I can't get ANY call back from Brennan, just the sound of frost crackling in my house. I left 4 calls so far. Very, very, VERY poor customer communication. I bought through Costco and wish I never did. Update 02/23/22 - Updated stars from 1 to 3. Well, last week the drain collection box and drain trap was replaced with new parts. Parts still under warranty, no charge. Had to pay $280 plus tax for labor.

I was finally upgraded from the new techs to the "specialists" techs. They seemed a lot more knowledgeable with the furnace and the design nuances. I could have fought this labor charge, but frankly, they wore me down and I just wanted it fixed. Seems to be working so far and now we are at sub-freezing weather, so fingers crossed it will keep working.

DECEITFUL SALES TACTICS! I called Brennan Heating & Air and told them I had a 15 year old furnace that needed repair. They came out and the service tech told me they have a company policy to not repair systems that old. I clearly told the phone rep how old the system was. They then charged me $197 for new quotes. When I followed up, they said they don't charge for quotes! Worst of all, once I wrote a review they reached out to me offering a refund which they never actually issued (it's 3+ weeks later now). Absolutely scummy tactics. Not recommended and deceitful.

This is a contractor we wanted to love. The people--generally very friendly, seemingly good communicators in person or on the phone. The downfalls: No one manages your project start to finish. This is an operational problem that company management needs to understand that nice employees can't fix on their own. On the surface it seems OK for home owners to schedule their own permits after installs. but when no one at the company gives you consistent information about which permit should come first. and then it snows. and then the company says they will schedule the permit inspections for you. and then no one gets back to you. and the installation caused a communication failure between the thermostat and your current, expensive, working furnace so you can't adjust the temperature in your own house (either freezing you or cooking you and your pets). and when you report this in email and by telephone as needed. and no one seems to have noted that you need to be put on a schedule or offers to. it's a sign of major problems. Brennan can and should be doing better.

If you're not keen on managing contractors and being disappointed that your simple "one-day" install has no end in sight seven (7) weeks later then you want to stay far away from Brennan. Communication is key. Even when the news is tough. It's not acceptable to not give your clients any dates at all. It's like we're all thrown into a hopper so you (Brennan) can keep juggling balls in the air--to your advantage not your clients'.

If our permitting is ever addressed I still don't even know if the install was done correctly and how any corrections will go. All of this is a real shame as some simple training and operational inputs would make a huge difference.

New furnace was installed, first time we turned it on it wouldn't work come to find out the brand new units motor was garbage. The guy installing it was unprofessional and smoking in our garage. Someone came out to check it and had to wedge a penny in part of the motor and wiring to get it to work until the new motor came in. Then when it snowed 2 days ago the exhaust pipes froze expanded and broke in half, we called them and they told us sorry its not under warranty due to weather, they guy said if he were to come out (15 min away) he would have to charge us a few hundred dollars just to look at it. such a hassle company to deal with and to find out they won't fix it when it was a Janey setup that we had already called and complained about. HVAC and furnace failed inspection several times. City inspector was very surprised by the "quality" of work. Specialist almost "persuaded" me to install the unit in a location that does not comply with Seattle standards. One-star because Brennan provided contradictory information related to what maintenance included and cost of maintenance.

What A JOKE this Brennan company is, especially their estimator Peter who takes 2 weeks to get an estimate out for a simple 40 gallon water heater and without any specifics or actual visit. i've sent multiple photos onlyto be asked the same questions already answered again in previousl emails - He quotes Literally $3910 + tax + Permit pie in the sky pricing.

No cost of parts, no break down. Just $3910 + + + +. This is the kind of company who does not want to do business with you unless it is an emergency and then then can really take advantage of you.

Do not use this company. They came to do a regular service call on my mother's furnace which was in working order. After spending some time with the furnace and calling his supervisor, the technician informed my mother that her furnace was too old to be serviced. They then talked about replacement option and my mother agreed to having them do a bid.

After the technician left, her furnace no longer worked. When she called Brennan and asked for help, they told her there was nothing they could do and hung up. They left my senior citizen retired single mother with no heat as we head into winter. Appalling and inhumane! We will not be giving them our business and neither should you.

Worst estimate for service for replacing a water heater I have ever encountered. After 2 weeks of waiting and several emails with pictures repeating already answered questions I receive a two line "estimate" of $3910 + tax + Permit for nearly $4500 without one shred of information as far a break out of costs. How Peter the estimator came to this pie in the sky price is beyond me as nothing else was communicated even after I submitted pictures and measurements for a simple 40 gallon gas water heater easily reached to service. THIS is the kind of company that ONLY wants to "Service" you in an emergency when you have little choice of no hot water or no heat in winter for maximum profit. NOT dealing with a lazy incompetent employee who has so little regard in his work with communicating with the retail public. Why a $600 water heater in stock in all the big box stores (yes I checked) costs over $3000+ in labor for a few hours is an ethical question.

Brennan was able to repair our aging furnace. The technician who was originally dispatched was inexperienced and diagnosed the issue incorrectly. As a result, the incorrect replacement part was ordered. The technician who came to install said part immediately noticed the error and ordered the correct part. This caused about a two week delay in the repair of our furnace.

It's a little difficult to get a hold of someone by phone; usually you have to leave a voicemail and get a callback but eventually, the correct part was ordered, received, and installed with no extra cost and the furnace is in working order. They were prompt and showed within the first 30 minutes of each promised visit window.

I purchase the TOP OF THE LINE furnace and heat pump from BRENNAN HEATING. Right out of the gate I have had nothing but problems. First I would like to say, the techs that have come to my house are descent-just trying to do their job. My issue is with management. NO ONE returns calls or emails. AWFUL way to conduct business. To top it off, I. referred a family member to brennan.the tech came and said she would get an estimate in a day. well that was 3 weeks ago. After, talking with my family member and hearing how they were treated, I believe whole heartedly, this person or even the company has issues with same sex marriages. Discrimination at its finest! I am extremely embarrassed that I.

6 years ago I bought a Heat Pump thru Costco. During the past time I have had the heat pump serviced 3 times and my furnace once. Three months ago I had the heat pump serviced. I told the tech it seemed it was struggled to start. He told me it was fine. I believed him like a fool. Then two months later it failed. I waited a month for a tech to come.

Thank goodness it was NOT the same person. He explained that the inside of the heat pump was clogged with so much dust it was like clay, and an amazing amount of spider webs. He cleaned it. and it thought the control panel was fried due to the webs. Lennox has a 10 parts warranty if registered and I did. The board did not solve the problem. SO he said it was the compressor.

Same part warranty, BUT not labor. Brennan wants $4,500.00 in labor. I asked why I should pay for the whole amount due to their techs did not do their jobs right. He countered that since I had only done it 3 out of 6 times they were not responsible. Does he suppose that the Huge amount of dust and webs were created in the 3 months between the service and outage? I have written a complaint to Lennox and next is the BBB and Costco. If I cant get satisfaction from Brennan I will continue to fill out reviews elsewhere

The work performed at our home was outstanding. The crew showed up on time, in company trucks and ready to work. They were all polite, considerate and professional. All flooring was covered to prevent any damage and everyone left their shoes outside my front door. All members of the crew worked quickly and efficiently. In one day, we had new gas lines, electrical wiring, multi-functional thermostat and complete AC unit.

Before the crew left the house, I was given a tour of what was completed, where everything was located and how the machinery installed worked. They could not have done a better job and earned five stars for a job well done.

Brennan installed my furnace through Costco in 2019. They gave 5 year warranty for labor. The system has had issues on and off and they charge each time for coming out. On 8/19/21 they did a regular maintenance and indicated they'd checked everything out. They did not replace the filter even though it is included in their maintenance charge because we had the 4inch.

When we switched the system to heat on 9/17 as temperatures had dipped. We had an error code 270- Flame failure. On calling Brennan, they informed me they would charge $149 for coming out and worse still were not available until 3 weeks later. I told them I was worried of how safe my home was with a gas furnace that seemed to be malfunctioning but that was not their worry. I'll be asking Costco why they recommend this company year after year despite their terrible services to members.

We contracted with Costco to install AC and Brennan is the company that came did the initial consultation, measure and installation (not happening in the end). The energy consultant John was very friendly and easy to work with. He provided prompt response and did the measurements and reassured us everything was ready for the installation day, which would be a month later.

Although he broke a piece of our trim when accessing the attic, he was kind enough to let me know that he would make sure to let his crew fix it for me. Everything was good until the installation day. The crew came after a month of waiting. When I mentioned about fixing the trim, they almost laughed and told me they don't fix anything for me. Then they started delivering bad news. First, they told me the attic doesn't have enough space for the equipment.

I was like why you didn't tell me about this when you did the measurements? Isn't that when we're supposed to know if the equipment would fit? Then they told me the new AC unit is damaged and asked if I would accept it as is. They don't have a replacement and would not agree to installing it first and replacing the damaged unit once they have one available either.

They offered to replace the damaged panels only which we end up declined. We had to cancel the work since we are not able to accept such a risk given that this is an expensive project and none of this is our fault. Nope, we are not accepting a damaged unit. We wasted our time and effort, waited for a month and had our trim damaged only to get nothing done in the end. John has been unresponsive since then. No apologies no nothing. I'm still waiting for them to refund the money that we paid in full in advance.

I've used Brennan in the past for my furnace always have wonderful service. But I called twice for a estimate on a cooling system from sales and still nothing. I get your busy but come on call back at least to acknowledge that I called. Thank you for responding. I understand your busy. I just needed to know where we were in being contacted.

If I could give zero stars I would. These guys are impossible to get ahold of, and rude once you do get ahold of them. We had low Freon and they felt that my family should wait 10 days during the worst heat wave the PNW has ever had for them to come out and check it. We ended up going with Nordstrom heating and air who had someone out the very next day who diagnosed and fixed it with an hour and half.

Then Brennan had the nerve to get upset that we weren't willing to wait when we called to cancel the very far out appointment. Unbelievable, do yourself a favor and use nearly anyone else.

Was super excited for AC, paid in full- no credit card. Unit was put in a week ago. It has gone out 3 times within this last week. One person says oh it's just the prongs. Nope. 1) thermostat was not mounted correctly. 2) they didn't put a cap on the ac vent in the attic so it was shooting moisture into our furnace. The electrician that came out. was incredibly rude, cussing in front of my kids, snapping at me when I responded, "I don't know, " to a question. I also have them on video playing basketball in my driveway. All around a cluster of issues. And now today the thing is out AGAIN. AND NO ANSWERS FOR SERVICE! Ridiculous.

Timely and professional service. I had a water heater go bad and I was working with my warranty company to get it repaired. Brennan was recommended to me after others were less than eager to help. There ended up being additional electrical issues that Brennan not only helped with promptly, but each repairman that I interacted with was courteous and diligent. Carlos came out to our home the same day I called for service. He was on time and provided top notch service in a timely manner. He explained everything he found and what he was doing and didn't try and sell me on services we didn't need. He was friendly and personable and was a pleasure to have in our home. They worked until after 7:00 to finish installing our new furnace and heat pump. The next morning the thermostat wasn't working, but Carlos came out in 15 minutes and rebooted the system. No problems since. Carlos was very friendly, fast and efficient.

Here's my letter I just to the Service Tech at Brennan about my experience with Brennan Heating Cassius, We know longer require your services. You were out here on January 21st, we told an estimate would be emailed to us at least by the next day. We got nothing. We called your main office in the next subsequent days, no one ever answered. We left voice mails, guess what?

No one ever returned our calls. Frustrated, as I have 90 year old mother in the house, we were forced to contact other carriers, we went with Bob's Heating. They were here promptly, we had our estimate on the spot. Oh, and guess what? They were $1,500 cheaper than the estimate you just sent me. The unit gets installed tomorrow Feb. 2nd. We had been with Brennen for years. But I guess that doesn't qualify us for at least a moderate customer service. In the future, if I'm asked for a referral it certainly will not be Brennan.

We used Brennan because we always go through Costco and have always had excellent service. Until Brennan. It started last year when we had a water heater installed. It was delayed over and over because it was a "special" unit, which didn't matter until it was delayed so long that the old unit completely broke and flooded the basement. When their plumber came out, he raised his voice at me, was angry about the flood (isn't that why you're here or were SUPPOSED TO BE HERE a month prior?) and yelled a lot.

He installed the water heater only after I had to request that they bring a device to help clean up the water to install the new one. He got hurt during the job and showed up muttering something while bleeding onto my porch. The job was unfinished, so they sent someone new who didn't quite know what to do. He wanted to drill holes in different parts of the house that the original plumber (bleeding guy) didn't mention-something about going through the living room or above the roof.

After he left, there were piles of mud tracked all over my carpet, and the wood floors were soaking wet. I emailed Brennan and got an "I'm sorry" response. Nothing else. Next, the inspector came to check the water heater, and Brennan had forgotten to attach the permit. SO, I had to contact them again to get this sent ASAP via email. Fast forward 10 months.

I have a gas leak coming from the pipes above the water heater. I contact Brennan, they send a tech, who tells me it's $1200.00 to fix. After calling several times (their phones were down according to the tech) and mentioning my experience last year and my frustration, they took the price down to $950.00. I got a 2nd opinion from a different company who arrived that same day. I paid the diagnostic fee, and he fixed it in less than a minute at no extra charge. Total price was $85.00.
