I talk to the owner. Sent over some pictures and he gave me a quote over the phone for the repair. He was booked out a month and a half. I'm moving at the beginning of June. I was ok with the May 17 schedule date. On May 17 he didn't show up. I called and texted, He eventually responded around noon. He forgot to put me on his calendar. He then said he could stop by tomorrow and look at it.
When he shows up on Tuesday, He tells me my quote is now 200 more and he usually likes to look at the bathroom first, Is his excuse for the price raise. So why didn't we make this inspection appointment in the first place? He didn't have an answer. Then he tells me he could work on it in a month. Knowing my tight time schedule. I never saw his work so the 1 star is for incompetence.

Kirk is a real professional. He does excellent work and only uses the best products. He refinished two tub/showers for me and did an excellent job, on time and for a very reasonable price. I will be using Advance Refinishing, LLC again for yet another tub/shower refinish. I will not use anyone else. Hope this helps you make a decision too!

I did my research in 2012 before choosing Advanced Refinishing. Our existing tub was harvest gold (remember the 70s?) but otherwise a solid tub and I didn't want to replace it with a crummy insert when our bathroom was remodeled. Kirk returned my call quickly, arrived on time, was fairly priced and did a fabulous job. Today, seven years later, I had Kirk come out to touch up the tub, mostly because our cat decided the tub was the best place to play with the catnip so I had a multitude of tiny scratch marks, and also the problem area of the drain was looking a little funky. Again, Kirk arrived on time, charged a fair price, and he made our tub look grand spanking new again. Look no further if any of your kitchen or bathroom fixtures need refinishing.
