I am so glad we called Dale's! We have had problems with our systems for years now. We dealt with 3 other companies. We were sold a "new" unit that was in truth 11 years old. We had our units repaired and it was shoddy work that didn't last a year. This is the first summer with severe heat wave temperatures we've had that our AC is keeping up with only a two degree variation. Before if we set ours at 72 by midday it would be 80 and by sunset 87. So I can recommend Dales I would use them again and I am grateful for them.

We've been using Dales since 2009. Never had a bad experience, and in fact, our most recent experience with Rodrigo was excellent. He explained what he was doing and why, offered options and didn't try to upsell when I made my choice. I was busy at the time doing my OWN work, so I paid for the service, asked him to knock on the door if there were any unforeseen problems, and I heard nothing until he got in his truck and went on the his next call. Highly recommended, and ask for Rodrigo if he's available.

We had our propane heating system go out. Dales replaced the parts under warranty and worked with us on a price that was more than fair. Other than having the system in our house, I've never had to deal with Dales directly on service. I'm so impressed and can highly recommend them. Their whole team was excellent to work with. One of our two furnaces quit during a cold weather snap, so we knew something had to be done quickly. We were very impressed with the quick and intelligent response to our need for a new HVAC system. Everything from diagnosis through financing was fully and clearly explained, all questions answered, and installation was done in 1-day on the first workday of the following week. We are very pleased with the system and workmanship, and would highly recommend this company.

The service was really complete in servicing, cleaning, and checking operation. The unit exterior was washed which will help unit run free of any dirt or leaves getting into fan and electrical areas. Have been using Dale's since moving into our new house 1+ year ago. Original owners used Dale's to install 2 units (upstairs and downstairs) about 6 years ago. Dale's left a huge one foot hole around the air intake that feeds up into my attic. This means hot air in the summer and cold air in the winter come down large openings into my walls causing obvious comfort issues.
I had Dale's out and they inspected and said this was a builders issue. When I asked how it is a builder's issue when they retrofitted new units and should of installed and sealed correctly, they said sorry, not our fault. Very poor installation work. We have also signed up for Dale's Comfort Care with preventative maintenance. Since having them perform preventative maintenance on our units, we have had one blower motor go out which they then replaced for around $300 dollars.
Both capacitors have gone out and Dale's now charges $223 for replacement which is a $7 part and 10 minute install. Also, I asked why our downstairs was not cooling hot/humid) on a preventative maintenance visit. The technician said it was just too hot outside to keep up. I called another company for a second opinion and they found our unit 4 pounds low on refrigerant and frozen up.
The other unit was 3 pounds low. $400 dollars for refills. So much for performing preventative maintenance that I paid for. Since refilling the refrigerant, it is like I have new units. Cool with no humidity. Also, regarding preventative maintenance, our upstairs unit drain pipe clogged leading to the unit shutting off. This should be part of routine maintenance that I'm paying for.
In summary Dale's has cost me around $300 dollars for preventive maintenance fees (which obviously weren't done as the capacitors should have been checked and refrigerant level), $300 dollars for a new blower motor, over $300 dollars for capacitors, and about $500 dollars in other costs/repairs. Their maintenance plan is nothing more than a simple cleaning of units with no checks performed.
This is a dishonest company and I have been so much more satisfied with service and price since switching to a new independent HVAC service. Please take my advice and do not use this company. I've left a message for Dale to call me, but have not been contacted.

Is there a 6th star? This is an amazing company with great service. Picture Dec 26th 2017, a family about to escape the cold for a Christmas vacation. Then BAM at 2am our hot water heater explodes. At 3 am we call Dales, by 7 am ON THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS a rep come assesses and gives us an insanely reasonable quote. ( Think price of equivilant at HD.com plus less than half for new hot water heater, install, and haul off of the old one.) The new hot water heater was installed SAME DAY.
We were on the way same day with no sticker shock. And just if y'all can't remember 12/26 was 20 degrees. Not only that but the service was amazing and everyone we spoke with outstanding.

I called to have an HVAC unit repaired. They took down all my information, including the service address. They said they would be there the following business day. Several hours later, I get a call saying it's "way outside of their service area", even though the service address is in Cleveland. Calling for service may be a waste of your time, as they cancel.

Our second floor HVAC unit was consistently blowing warm air and the temperature was reaching the mid-80s. I had heard that Dale's Heating & Air was the best in the area, but had not needed their service before. Well, the information I received was correct! The tech showed up on time (2-4pm window) and was able to recharge my system and identify a small leak which he repaired.
Now we are experiencing normal temps and my kids are so thankful. Oh, and the office folks are top-notch, also! They took my call and were pleasant on the phone. They even followed up with me on the day of the appointment to let me know that the tech was on his way. I would definitely recommend Dale's Heating & Air and call them if/when my next need arises.

Opened in September of 2011. Dales specializes in central heat and AC units for your home. Now, They do not work on AC window units for some reason at least the person I talked to stated this. They will install central heat and air in houses that have never had the system put in. In the past, they have installed these systems in new homes. The brand names that they sell are Carrier, American Standard and Temp Star. They are located about a half mile on the right just down the road from Sonic after you pass the bridge.
