Prior to the early 1980's, there was a void in the building industry for expanded selection and availability when it came to trimming out the interior of new homes. There were very few options when it came to the size or design of mouldings and doors that were readily available. The local lumber yard was the primary source for these products and their role was to attempt to provide everything, but they did not specialize in any one particular area or product line.Customers had a narrow range of offerings available without items being "custom made or custom ordered."

Due to moisture control issues, we recommend that all surfaces and edges be finished as quickly as possible. It is recommended to keep all interior mouldings and millwork inside a humidity controlled area while on the job site. To ensure proper moisture content, it is best to allow the material to acclimate for several days prior to installation.
